Excellent commentary! Years ago I learned a phrase, normalization of deviance, and it applies here. Behavior, or words, that are just a tad off “normal” are ignored, and then the next time may be ignored, too. Then the “deviance” from normal occurs again and again…until it becomes “normal”. Scary enough in a relationship, but terrifying for a candidate for the presidency. This channel has become a frequent “go to” of mine for straight, honest info about current events. Thank you.
