Need your suggestion... I m planning to buy grand vitara... I hve some concerns..
1. Is engine capable for highway at speed of 100 n above
2. Is 6th gear is missing part if u want to cruise above 100 speed.
3. And what is noise level inside cabin at high speed.
4. Is mileage hamper if v cruise at 100 and above.
My most of running is on highway what's why i hve concern over high speed.
And at last can 3 people easily sit on back seat.
Bro. I have Hyryder - Mild Hybrid, so can answer your questions as GV and Hyryder are same cars in a nutshell:
Engine is capable and goes above 100 with ease and you can maintain those speed levels, I personally miss 6th gear as lots of engine noise gets filtered into the cabin while cruising at triple digit speed and average takes a hit, gearbox is a bit notchy specially while applying reverse gear.
Cabin insulation is average but ride is unexpectedly good as even with such ground clearance car remains planted on highways, brakes are amazing, seats are great and can sit 3 adults in the back with ease, legroom is plenty and headroom is adequate for someone even of 6'2" inch height(Non Sunroof variant).
I was personally confused between 3 cars (Taigun, Nexon and Hyryder) went with Hyryder as Hyryder/GV offers best Value for your money and where Taigun and Nexon shines, these twin sister cars are not far behind in those areas as well.

I cruise mostly on 80-90 on Highways and it gives me around 19Kmpl(Tank to Tank), In city 14-15 kmpl.
If you'll cruise above 110kmph speed(above 3500 rpm) on highways then expect average of 15-16 kmpl.
Maybe , set cruise speed 80-90 will get good mileage
