Dude. I didn't expect this tbh when watching the anime. I've read manga before, so I knew what was coming up, but when this played and we watched our boys Jean and Armin, and the best girl Mikasa, and the rest of the army/scouts fight Titans together to this, knowing damn well that they're their comrades, TO THIS MUSIC... It took me back to when they were still kids. The fact that Shadis was there to lead the bois, and the fact that Pixis was there as a Titan... Armin's words... It all hit so hard. The music dropped so hard, it was super hype. I must admit, I shed a tear or two. And I'm a grown ass man(25) watching small drawn people on the screen flying around and killing giant naked men. That just goes on to say how well executed this scene was.
Please… Rest In Peace. :(

Am i the only one that felt like this song did not fit at all with the scene like they are laying their comrades to rest even the first person to show them support when eren first transformed. I feel like the scene needed to have a more somber song not WO OH OH WO OH.
Now i love the song its so good im listening to it on loop so dont think im being biased and im glad they are reusing the soundtrack but seriously it felt way off for me
I get what you’re saying a agree somewhat but also in my opinion it was good because it’s showing these soldiers respect they aren’t pitying them they aren’t crying and all that even tho it may be sad but they are past that these soldiers have no way of coming back to life they have done their duty and this is their final action they don’t need a pity song they need one showing how they have all grown from little kids to strong soldiers even though most of them are titans now. I thought it was perfect and brought back the hype of earlier seasons just now we know that who they are killing are people but nevertheless basically dead.
@@nathanielhilton2898 i get that part but they stopped the music for the commanders death meaning they knew what this moment needed so the rest of the scene just comes off as "hey look the characters are doing the thing you like look at them be cool"
