I am in Asia - for the first time and I am SO excited about it! In this vlog, I capture the very long flight process, my visit to the DMZ (170m from North Korea), and some of the solo travel fun in Seoul and Bali!
I'm Nicole Wilbur and I'm a writer and "story nerd", which basically means I love analyzing books, movies, and shows to understand how and why they work. I make videos about becoming a better writer, editing my books, and writing resources. And -- as I start on the journey towards traditionally publishing one of my books -- I'm sharing every step of the process. If this sounds good to you, hit the subscribe button! :)

Ohhh this is the best!! I don’t know how you deal with all the constant time zone changes 😅 My brother is stationed in Korea right now, so I hope you waved hello to him haha
I know exactly what you mean about being so tired the world is sort of rolling around you. We had about a 30ish hour travel “day” when I went to India. Landed late at night, didn’t get settled into our hotel until 1 AM…then had to be up at 7 to head out to see the Taj Mahal! We were all a little delirious, but I was in India, so I didn’t care.
So wild seeing NK just like…right there. I’ve read so much over the years about the things the NK people endure. The day they get the freedom they deserve will be a glorious day.

The time zone changes can be crazy! Ahh it was interesting to learn more about the US-SK relationship!! :)
Omg the Taj Mahal! Sounds incredible. Yup, delirious but the adventure is worth it, eh?
Absolutely! It was mind-blowing how close it was, yet it's completely impenetrable: and the separation was so much more recent than I realized, they were one country until 1945 so families still split apart... so hope we see that day!
