Tornado Warning 8-10-12 1:41PM

I wasn't fast enough to record the EAS kick in nor to hear Jim Cantore narrate "A tornado warning has been issued for our area". Anyway, an EF 0 tornado with 85mph winds was confirmed yesterday in Oakdale, NY, 7 miles from my exact location. I did notice a change in wind direction, indicating that this was a rotating thunderstorm, we also had some straight line wind, not that strong, but around 45-50mph. This is hands down the best severe weather season I've ever experienced in my life as a Long Islander. The flooding was THE worst flooding I've ever seen in my life, all the streets in my neighborhood were under a good 6" of water, and it never floods in my area.
