I only realized last week the new LOT8's came out and I haven't got the time to record. Jim Cantore still narrates. I actually like the new design. I don't know if I prefer it over the IS2 or not. I definitely like what they did with the LDL and sidebar during live broadcasting, nice to see averages, records, tides, rise/set times etc.

HiRAD and TWC being too cool again, KISP is at 85, not 84. But anyway, nice and lovely weather over the next week. NW winds and offshore flow should make temps climb into the mid 90's. Some days the air might get dry, particularly Tuesday, other than that dews should stay in the 70's. I love this weather, now if only we could have 1 thunderstorm. Haven't even had 1 decent storm so far this year...

We're still stuck in winter while the rest of the nation bakes in spring like temperatures. Models have been consistent showing no signs of spring here. We might not even have a 55 day this month at all. The snow today sucks, it's varying in intensity and is not accumulating. It's been so cloudy and cold, typical March, completely different from last year where we were in the 60's and 70's more...

Could have up to 2ft. Could have another snow storm Valentines day. We currently are having mixing problems, going from heavy snow to sleet and back.

Had a few inches of snow last night so that along with the cold makes it really feel like winter. Could have a big snowstorm Friday. Lets hope. Hoping we can drop into the single digits over the next couple of days, haven't done that in years.

It's warmer here than basically anywhere else in the country, with the exception of southern Florida. Highest wind gust I could find in the area was at Robins Reef NY/NJ (sustained at 57mph gusting to 74mph). There was a chance of thunderstorms but the line didn't develop in time. Chance of snow on Christmas, though they are calling for rain.

Landfall most likely in NJ right now giving LI the full brunt of the winds, theoretically, gusts could be as high as 100mph (highest gust was 96mph) but NWS saying gusts between 70-80mph. twctoday.com/forums/your-local-weather/long-island-weather/msg177182/#new

Cold arctic Canadian High builds eastward bring record cold temps to north east. NO frost or freeze advisories/warnings have been issued for Long Island and NYC, but the rest of the region is. Intellistar II 2 Record Low for 10-13: 34°F (1987) So far, we haven't even got close to the record low.

I remember that day. I had a Tornado Watch. Thankfully no Tornado Warnings. There wasn’t much thunder (if any at all), but I did get heavy rain and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
