    Clarins has literally made ppl tell me they can't believe I am 40 and not 23...! I am a skin care therapist and obey all the skin care rules, and I don't smoke... So that may help... But I truly believe that having used Clarins my whole life... Has contributed!!!

    Anyone else freaked out by how much she's squeezing out? I realize it's just to demonstrate the texture/formula. But the penny-pincher in me is like "NO! It's a waste!!"

    My sister got me using clarins (starting with the tonic range) when I was pregnant on my first child. 4 children later (incl one newborn!) and I have no stretch marks. My sister passed away recently (the week before my new daughter was born) and clarins just reminds me so much of her....I smile and think of her everytime I use it. Great video as always xxx

    WOW you look great in yellow Caroline! I've never tried anything from Clarins...this was quite an education in products. I think I better go watch your other videos so I can learn more about cleansing. Gosh I hate to admit it but I'm one of the lucky ones with great genetics and some days I do wash in the morning but A LOT of the time I take Pixi Glow Tonic and just go over my face :/ I guess I better go learn more about this! Thanks for this info! ~~Mary

    I finished my Alpine Cleansing Milk this morning, and god do i love it to bits! I can’t even put into words how much, honestly. As for the Gentle Exfoliator - it completely transformed my skin (my first experience with acid, and a complete success. my skin texture is SO much better, it almost makes me cry because before i couldn’t look at my skin in makeup, it would be so flaky and bumpy). Thank you for your first Clarins’ overview, as i bought both of the products after that video x

    Thanks Caroline. Clarins was the first “proper” skincare that I bought for myself in the early 90s. (I’ll draw a veil over the Clinique experience before that.) I’m glad to see some of the same products still around. I must say my brain screamed about the wastage involved in squeezing in so much product into your hand. It seemed like a skincare sacrilege! 😂 I would appreciate a brand overview of the Clarins range. I do love all the indie brands, but there is something comforting about the familiarity of Clarins and I can pop down the road to buy some. Thank you once again.

    I bought the Alpine cleanser when it was in one of your empties-videos and fell totally in love, THANK YOU 🙏 But I didn't know about the "suction" 😱 Have to try it tonight 👍
    Can the one step exfoliant be followed by an acid toner, or is it too much exfoliation?
    Congrats on your eight years, we love you ❤❤

      mmh, in Italian Gentian is "genziana", with sweet g like in "sponge" or "gem" and with t now z like many other words from latin, that sounds, for a English-speaking, like the american pronunciation of Z 😵, Carolin, you're right

      Claudia Gambino in italiano lo pronunciamo così, ma i francesi lo pronunciano diversamente, anche perché in francese la "g" dolce non esiste proprio :)

    hello, i bought the cleansing milk with alpine herbs (the green one) and used it for the first time today, i was shocked by how creamy and milky it is, it is so not like any other cleanser i used before. i wonder is it really a facial cleanser or just a makeup removing cleanser. also should i use water to damp my face first before applying it (like i did with other cleansers)? thank you

    Loved hearing more about Clairns. I have loved their chamomile toner for years and recently purchased the one with iris as it is better suited to my skin and like it equally as much as the chamomile. I also like their foaming cleansers and was pleased to hear they are of the good foaming variety. The only issue I have is the cottonseed one smells like a cleaning product we have in Australia called Jiff 😕 Love the brand reviews along with all your other videos, thanks Caroline 😊

When living in Mex City, my skin care was absolutely basic, since weather is not such a big factor. Love CLARINS! Caroline! A little off topic, but please tell me off I use a Clarins serum, then a face oil of any kind, why I'd by an expensive Clarins moisturizer since none of its good ingredients can break through the oil and get into my skin. Please help a girl out??

    Clarins was my first experience of a skincare "routine" when I was about 18 years old, 9 years later and I am still loyal to Clarins for many products and I rely on Clarins Extra Comfort Cleansing cream whenever I have a problem or reaction ❤️ something about the clarins scents makes me feel so soothed and relaxed in seconds as well haha. also the clarins gift with purchase offers are ALWAYS the best 😂 Loved the video as always x

    Love Clarins and I’ve had the gentle eye makeup remover for years, it’s brilliant. I do prefer a cleansing milk as a morning cleanse when it’s warmer weather so I’ll check out alpine herbs 🌿! Brilliant video

    Love your videos Caroline and do love me some Clarins. Quick Q: which cleansers would you recommend for 2 wk hol to Thailand? I'm normal-dry and love a double cleanse. I usually use an oil/balm for first cleanse, followed by a cream/gel cleanser.

    I love clarins so much. The pure melt gel is HEAVEN on my skin, I love their toners, their hydra quench range ( except the serum cause it smells like potato water) and their oil!
    YES! They do not get enough love.

    You look beautiful in yellow 💛 Can you please guide me with a routine for people who go to the gym? I go to work in the morning and go to the gym at luch! I go back to work after the gym. I wear makeup in the morning and take it all off after the gym and I need to put in on again in the afternoon and take it off again at night and I feel it’s too harsh on my skin! Please help!

    You can hear gentiane here; th-cam.com/video/axSY7qShQ1I/w-d-xo.html (0:04 or 0:05). We crazy french make a liquor out of it too. It's nice and bitter, a bit like a stronger gin.

    Thanks for the video! I want to use Clarins, but the reason I haven't is that they have so many products that it's confusing to pick just a few. This really helps!

    Hi Caroline. I love your page and all your skincare videos ... I'm into skincare myself, eat right and drink enough water... but I'm noticing pigmentation on my skin. Mainly on my cheeks... it's kind of like redness but with some dark spots too ... I've combination type skin and clean my pores out plus use a pore minimizing serum too ...but I'm still noticing the pigmentation..I'm sure its not acne or even rosacea as I don't breakout that often ...
    I'm big into Clarins and thinking of the mission perfection serum or the white plus serum? If u have any videos you did on them or pigmentation issues in general? Also I don't use many of the products branded "for men" as I find it's all a marketing thing.... I know there are structural differences with men's vs women's skin but I havnt found a major difference in the products stating "for men" any tips or videos you could give me I'd be so grateful 😁💋

    I am one of those boys who use Clarins. I love Clarins, used their products before they had a men's line. I still use the main line, as I find the men's line a bit greasy. Great video, Caroline!

    Hi Caroline, I bought the one-step gentle exfoliating cleanser, the first few uses was fine but now every time I use it, it leaves the top of my cheeks and above my eyebrows really red. Do you know what might be causing this? I don't have sensitive skin I have only ever reacted to a makeup primer 4 years ago and never reacted to a skin care product.

    • @Tomobaby09

      Bee1808 switch to a traditional cleanser like gentian. It could be the scent or the beads. I’d guess your in your 20’s?

    Hi Caroline - are you recommending NOT using an acid toner after using the Toning Lotion with Iris or the Toning Lotion with Camomile? I sometimes cleanse with the Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Shea Butter or the Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs and then follow up with one of the toners (swiping with a cotton pad) before using an acid and the rest of my routine.

    • @CarolineHirons01
      @CarolineHirons01  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes don’t waste your product. The entire point of acid is to throw your PH off kilter so skip ‘toner’ and go to acid. X

    Wipes are the only thing I can use to take my mascara off! I wrap the wipe around my lashes and sort of twizzle my lashes between the wipe until theres no mascara left. I've tried so many methods and this is the fastest and most efficient for me, especially when I'm reapplying my makeup whilst wearing contact lenses (cleansing oil gets in my eyes and BYE BYE lenses when that happens!). When I use cotton pads on the whole eye area, the texture of them gives me sore eyelids.

    • @Tomobaby09
      @Tomobaby09 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Laura Crosby your 40year old self will wish you hadn’t used a wipe. It will create loser skin around your eyes. The gentle eye make up remover on a cotton pad will do just as good. Just without the dragging. Hold in against your eye and let it work it’s magic. If you wear waterproof mascara you will need the instant eye make up remover. Twizzling your eye lashes with a wipe could potentially cause eyelash loss.

    Forgive me if this is a dumb question. The amount of cleanser you were squeezing into your hands to demonstrate each product, is that how much you should cleanse with?
