Its impressive how many op looking builds just die against the heart.
It's a fascinating piece of game design imo. Multiple roguelikes, StS, monster train, wildfrost, all of their true final bosses are like a puzzle that you assemble the pieces for throughout your run. The best players will know what pieces they need to succeed against the multiple layers of complexity in the fight. OP builds that decimate the rest of the game can't necessarily beat the last puzzle. You can't just do shivs against the heart because of the heart beat passive, you can't just go all out big damage because of the max-damage-per-turn, you need a certain amount of draw to get through all the status cards it gives you reliably, etc.

@@arunkarthikma3121If your deck is solely defense with minimal damage, you still lose. If the heart cycles enough times, it begins gaining 50 strength every buff turn. Even if you can hit 999 block, it will easily generate enough strength to outdamage it. You need to be able to deal with the heart relatively swiftly.
My favourite Slay the Spire video is the one where Frost talks about shitting himself for a loooooooooong time
This one's more of a challenge: What if every relic was a potion? Common relics are common potions, uncommon to uncommon, rare and boss to rare potions /character specific potions like ghost in a jar or Ambrosia
Edit: If it's too easy then no potion belt so 2 max slots

You'd be going against the heart with nothing but 4 potions in the best case scenario.

Ngl i wish the stackable girya worked as i would have imagined: simply increases the lift limit by 3 for each stack, instead of activating each girya every tine you'd lift, to have a more balanced and challenging run.
mah cause thats just never worth dedicating 80 percent of your campfires for 1 str
there arent even remotely enouth campfires to make that work
With some balancing then: only activating x number of giryas per lift? Like,2 or 3?
