Okay, so maybe I'm wrong here, but wouldnt frost have gained enough block from playing stack first, then using the relic that lets you borrow energy to play force field to get enough to live? Maybe I'm mathing wrong.
A mod recommendation I'd give is called "battle towers." Basically it makes it so you can chose to take the treasure chest, or fight a mini-boss, a elite, and extras.
Like e. g. the fact that Heart's passive takes away your Buffer even when you have the Rod. I mean, I can kinda get why this works this way but still, counterintuitive, and they DO NOT explain it in the vanilla StS text.

this relic creates a weird situation where it's better to hold on to a power for a few fights, upgrade it, then use it. I really like it
The power cube does indeed not play powers that isn't *specifically* in your deck, so creative AI wouldnt kill you
do you also know if it kills you, when you are on 6hp or lower?

If you remove a parasite in base game with insufficient max HP, you'll simply be placed at 1.
