I feel like Julie's first Meet outfit was perfect. It reminded me so much of what I wore but you are right, the second one is too cliche.
Yes! I loved her original meet outfit but really dislike the Beforever one. It literally looks like a hippie costume from Party City, not something a young girl would have actually worn in the 70s!

Claudie's Meet outfit reminds me of 1980 Annie movie. What the orphans wear. Annie takes place in 1933, so it would make sense that orphans in the 1930s would have 1920s dresses that were probably donated to the orphanage. That's my take.
I wish Elizabeth's Meet dress was made like Felicity's Christmas dress (as the design suggests) and that the accessory set came with another stomacher. Missed opportunity.
Rebecca's my favorite doll, and I do agree that her purple Meet dress is the better of the two.

The historicals are my absolute favorites! Can’t wait to get Claudie. My fave for this rank would be PC Molly or Cecile and least fave Julie’s current outfit

I’m a little late on seamless video. For me it is Samantha‘s be forever meat outfit. Her historical one was amazing but according to her book she does not like the colour pink. Her be forever me outfit is all light pink. I think the dress is very pretty and would’ve been great for truly me or in a different colour but it doesn’t fit Samantha story at all and I don’t like that about it. The outfit should be filling the dolls like what a doll would want to have no closet Think they would want to buy rather than just random outfits that don’t take into consideration her likes and dislikes
I am watching this for the second time. I agree with some of your opinions and I disagree with some. It is so fun to hear someone else's perspective. I do think Felicity's first outfit is amazing with her colour hair. I love the muted colours the best. In general first outfits are my favourite, including Rebecca's, and Samantha's. They are not too "pretty" or too bright. I like that they are understated. Just like i love their work gowns and school dresses.
I have Emily but I don’t like her headband because it is too stuff.
Yes her headband is a little tricky
i’ve had Emily for 12 years and i’ve always hated her headband! its so hard and it always messes up her hair. headband aside..i love emily
