Great tutorial! It's so interesting to see how everyone paints things differently, I tend to use gouache because it goes a bit fuzzy and I quite like that, might have to try out acrylic too ☺
Comets in the sky!!!!! The one on the left has more dimension and depth! But I also like the one on the right, as well….hmmmm…I wonder if it would be overkill to use salt, let that dry and remove salt, then splatter. That COULD possibly have the effect of stars deep in space……Hmmmmm, you’ve got me thinking! Another inspirational video, Harriet! ❤️
Oh my gosh, I want to do this when I get back home from my physical therapy!!! Harriet, do you think that watered down a bit white gauche would work like the white acrylic paint??? Also, thought I would share something I learned after doing a bit of research. Over here (across the pond 😁) in the states, I have a w/c paper, Grumbacher, readily available to me. It's like the Daler Rowney w/c paper you have over there. Many thanks for this. I sooo appreciate you, Harriet. God bless you and yours. Have a blessed weekend.
These are so beautiful. But every time I try to do one, my paper buckles terribly, and I end up with a mess. The other night I tried it, and my work went from galaxy, to northern lights, to streaks, puddles, and hard lines. It's got me quite discouraged. 😒
Have a bit of fun with tonight's tutorial! You can now buy the exact same brushes that I use in my videos on my website dewintonpaperco.com/shop/
Nice beautiful water color
Thanks for visiting
Wow, this technique is completely different from the previous one. It's wonderful.
