Hi Puffy, I havent forgotten you, I'm working on a field of flowers. They are so fun, and you will be surprised how easy they can be achieved with very little work. Thank you for being here with me Puffy, you are appreciated :-)
So beautiful. I love the colours, I’ve actually order a tube of quin magenta because I love it so much. I also like how you painted the relaxed leaves and the small leaves at the top of the stems. I’ll be practicing this technique! Thanks again. 🌸
I'm 70 now and when I was younger my Dad told me these were planted along side outhouses as they can grow very tall. Back in the day visitors could just scan the back yard and easily see the holly hocks, thus finding the outhouse. 😂
Margaret I LOVE that story! I'snt that fun? I have not seen these in person, this was a request from a follower of mine, and I'm so happy she requested them, they were quite fun to research and paint! Did you know they are also edible? Although not sure I would eat the ones planted alongside the outhouses! lol Thanks for the fun fact and happy painting!
I live in central Ontario Canada, hollyhocks remind me of my grandmother‘s house she had them all growing at the side of her property up against her home, and they were beautiful. There are single hocks which we’ve painted, but there’s double hollyhock two which are heirloom hollyhocks. Gorgeous. I have them here on my own property. Unfortunately I can’t post a picture. I’m not sure exactly why ..
How wonderful Bonnie, and what fun memories. I have only seen them once, and was surprised at how tall they are~ At the time I painted this I had not seen them in person, and they were so fun to paint. I hope you give them a try. Yes, that's one drawback on here is you cant share photos :/ Id love to see everyone's garden photos from around the world. I hope you give them a try, they are a lot of fun~

Удивительно, как легким движением руки, можно из ничего создать цветок, а после оживить ...
Восхитительно ❤

That is an awesome story. No, "down the hall and take a right at the end. It's the second left. Make sure you lock both doors." 🤣😂
