Excellent presentation, but a couple of gripes. This was only made only a year ago and yet is clearly based on DSM 4 . Clinicians should look at some of the newer research that talks about dimensional approaches, moving away from "schizophrenia" and towards "chronic psychosis" as a model, as well as the power of Open Dialogue Therapy as pioneered in Scandinavia in the past few years, whether adjunct or instead of antipsychotic prescription. There's some really exciting research happening in the states with early intervention, but huge issues with the diagnosis of so called "ultra high risk" groups (aka potentially prodromal) who might not turn out to not be on course for conversion to chronic psychosis. Personally I think going even earlier and targeting young adults who experience a lot of adversity when screened for ACEs would do wonders for the treatment of this specific condition. Schizophrenia is considered by WHO to be the second most debilitating condition to live with and the only truly powerful tool we have to tackle it's 1% incidence is prevention. Very exciting research to come I'm sure

Thanks for your response. My partner only recently diagnosed at aged 56. I thought he had multiple personalities or something . I ended up leaving as it impacted me and made me confused. . Very. I will be supporting him. Its so sad when this goes untreated and I am saddened there's not enough freely available info out there which could have helped me when I was dating an undiagnosed schizophrenic . ! The world needs to catch up and fast ! Thanks again. Love and light.

So glad to see ACEs finally becoming more mainstream - my first encounter was with a very very proactive Judge who was trying to use them (along with other tools) to deal with domestic violence cases - and she was regularly ridiculed for trying to get people to get evaluated and treated for their mental health instead of just dealing with the immediate issues in court. Fast-forward 15 years and it's now becoming (sadly) standard fare that judges are trying to act as front-line advocates for mental health BECAUSE it's intrinsically tied to both crime and drug-use.
I really hope that at some point the war on drugs and the opioid crisis are seen for what they really are - a mental health crisis.

@@randzopyr1038 YES! Its amazing the research looks so promising! All it would take is a broad change in the attitude towards ACEs screening and the funding to do it and society could be so much healthier in so many ways! Definitely something to contact politicians about etc

I had and still have manic depression since I was 15. At 25 I got full blown schizophrenia. I hear voices, have visual hallucinations and have mood swings. At 51 I am a mess. I sleep all day and watch youtube or network news. I wish the rapid cycling of emotions will stop.

I don’t think I suffer from schizophrenia but I have experienced a few alarming voices on rare occasions while under stress. For example, I once was awakened suddenly by a screeching, blood-curdling scream at which I found my mouth wide opened. I am sure the scream came from me because I heard the neighbor on the other side of the wall say to her partner “Did you hear that!” At another time I heard a masculine, very frightening, growling masculine voice that startled me awake. Those two incidents happened only in a matter of seconds, they didn’t continue on. A few other times while awake I have heard my name called.
Yet other times I suddenly have seen a shadow at the corner of my eye but when I turned around no one is there.
Is it possible that I am beginning to develop schizophrenia? Those incidences are rare.

I believe it’s now well established that those diagnosed with schizophrenia are likely to do better long term having had NO medication input.
Most ‘mental illness’ manifest from past Trauma, usually childhood Trauma, this is true of schizophrenia also.
In the past ‘talking treatments’ were refused to anyone diagnosed schizophrenia and/or deemed psychotic…
I’m hopeful this will change and that Long term psychotherapy from Trauma specialists (Trauma informed & properly trained) will become available to all who are diagnosed with schizophrenia/psychosis.
Only then will there be any hope for ‘Recovery’.

When a test is designed it ONLY takes one false answer to fail the test and I have failed some test in my college years. Thought is not something observable to other people. Although positive symptoms can often have roots in adding things to thought process that would not be present otherwise, disorganization is always associated with lacking organization. Yes I understand that you mean based on observation. But this is a critical error that will fail students who are correct in the test. Disorganized SPEECH is the positive symptom AND as a schizophrenic I will have you know what appears is disorganized speech has much more reason to be associated with the patients fleeting limited attention than the schizophrenic’s organization of thought. Organization of thought is a problem, but it has more to do with getting through a concept while telling a story or making what he or she perceives as a good argument than feeling distracted by an abstract trigger. When testing a schizophrenics organization of thought I recommend having us write what we want to say. And also always remember most of us have a very autistic sense of humor. The pragmatic and the nonsensical are both heightened with sensitivity in the minds of a schizophrenic. The word is nonsensical, there is nothing rude in nonsense

US PATENT 4,877,027--HEARING SYSTEM --Sound is induced in the head of a person by radiating the head with microwaves in the range of 100 megahertz to 10,000 megahertz that are modulated with a particular waveform. The waveform consists of frequency modulated bursts. Each burst is made up of ten to twenty uniformly spaced pulses grouped tightly together. The burst width is between 500 nanoseconds and 100 microseconds. The pulse width is in the range of 10 nanoseconds to 1 microsecond. The bursts are frequency modulated by the audio input to create the sensation of hearing in the person whose head is irradiated.

Do you want the chemical formula to make one cause i know tuning forks real well and oscillators and can point you in the direction of then cymetics used also they turn your bodies into a inverse transducer / receiver and i know some of you had their wisdom teeth taken out as well, The reason i know this is because ive been investigating medical privately and came to the conclusion that the system derives off of a form of psychoacoustics and bone conduction which ive been studying transducers and different matter to recreate a liquid inverse transducer using cymetic , Thought is bass demodulated and transduced in the auditory lobe threw the apex of the basilar membrane here is a great comparison Lightning produces thunder but thunder is not lightning it is a by product of light which is reverb that follows the guidelines of the laws physics your brain produces electricity so to hear yourself think then demodulation occurs in ears this sound then returns back to the brain to be received to then be interpreted in the broca, The same process is called auditory transduction which is the basics of how we all hear , Now medical likes to claim that this memory in the past tense hippocampi located in the left hemisphere of the brain which sits near the left auditory lobe which plays a role in muscule memory since the broca is connected to then past tense hippocampus and has shorter wavelength to travel since the nerve is shorter the nerves from the creative cortex which medical creates the augment that it is you memory creating relentless thought which is both true and false since their point fails to acknowledge that thermal physics needs to be applied, The First law states energy cant be created from nothing so something needs to produce a reaction , This is were bone conduction comes in Thought db can sit anywhere from -3 to -7 Db which audio in bass layering this is the data demodulation for sound to be interpreted by the conscious but audio that goes even lower will produce a subconscious reaction , Since language is perceived some what universal just like colors which we all agree blue is blue then vague words can attach themselves to memory these simple words like house , dog ,cat and car, truck when placed with word like "Your" taps into that interpretation like a conversation for instance if i asked you to think of your Car but if you only had one in you life that will be the memory that pops into your brain but if you had more then one car then this will create a reaction to the limbic system that retorts that memory to the present not past tense words that are rhetorical and personal to a person will experience different stimulation and imaging due to personal experience which is the variable of why schizophanics all see different delusion's behind there eyes, Now how is this possible i tell you its called noicereceptors , The mind needs to interoperate pain which there are two receptor A and D which are slower then the rest the reason for this because pain is a square to sine wave pulse waveform A and D receptor speed is around 0.25ms to 0.27ms which electricity is 0.45ms to stimulate pain with out even feeling it is as simple as 1.25 volt charge for the people say this is impossible lick a 9 volt battery did you die no but your broca was stimulated , This will send signals to the broca which then lights nerves in the central speech cortex this is the carrier wave for the audio , ok with explaining this now for people who want to know how and why they might feel anxiety, nervous and fast heart rate this is because your cns has been over clocked from pico electricity , countless cases of electrocutions and people who survive share similar symptoms ironically but how to direct such electricity to the body iys called inductive positive to negative polarity which is Alternating current which is faster then Directed current but low inductive Electromagnetic fields produce this current and voltage for instance your wifi router is producing light which is paramagnetic on a positive charge and decelerates around the electronic which is receiving the signal , Mri dye uses this method with infrared camera to get your gaba scan which the main ingredient is GD 64 and Aluminum now this will cause a paramagnetic reaction to blood and a sub layer to the next step which is to lower epidermal reaction in skin this is where bauxite oxides come in when you digest this oxide it will leave aluminum since hydrochloric acid doesn't dissolve and this byproduct will make its way to the spleen and lymphatic system this is the first layer when this happens it bonds with fluoride and iron creating that base ions and metals that are used in radio technology a tuning fork which you would need to do the math for mass, volume and density for the atomic ratio of aluminum and apply that to this basic formula AL+2,Fe+2,F+2,Gd+2 This will take a toll on Na and K production in the electrolytes as well on top of Ca+2 so long term will most likely cause hypocalcemia and hypoglycemia , So question is whats that resonate frequency from what ive found the safest is ultrasound at 3ghz 50 to 60mhz which can contain additional data bins which infrared can carrier to penetrarte the skin all it take is 1.7 ghz and a multi layering deceleration processes of the right forms of magnetics and wen this reacts to the body and hits bone you then have a liquid bone conduction connection but if you want data to come back then you will need calcium tungsten so there you go.lol
