Fun Fact: Some commercials use mashed potatoes instead of real ice cream to shoot their ads because the potatoes don't melt under the heat of the studio lights. So yes, the creamy scoop of scotch delight could be just a potato salad without the dressing.

To me it works best with hot talking either the red or the blue heat or hot Cheetos. You should try it. Also eating crunch n munch popcorn and ice cream separate is awesome to. Since it doesn't get soggy easy.
Hey Nick here’s an idea , I think you should try remaking your finanali meal in master chef but better. To prove that you’ve learned so much since then. But then again it’s just a suggestion, and you probably won’t see this.
Try soy sauce vanilla ice cream. It does not suit everyone but I loved it, it transformed the cheapest quality ice cream into something pretty gourmet. The only thing I would advise is to use fresh Japanese soy sauce (the Kikkoman Shiboritate should be found easily enough). A good quality soy sauce will make some kind of salty caramel / maple syrup that will pair very nicely with the ice cream.
