@@spider-fer9193 I finished the whole show in less than a week 😅 I'd like to rewatch Spider-Man or Hulk now, but after an overload of Marvel animated content in too little time, I'm taking a break
I've no idea, the show comes out in March 20, so I guess we'll find out then. Based on what they've done so far, though, I think it'll be similar if not the same
There are only 4 volumes not 5, I own them and watch them once a year. There is a volume 5 but even I don't own it because it doesn't count. Season 5 was ordered by Fox as a last-minute addition after the season originally ended. A different studio took over, the quality dropped significantly because most of the money got pulled from the show and the content was made up as it went alone. Us hardcore fans don't bring up season 5.
@@Particle_Ghost Yew, I did say the animation was terrible in those last few episodes, but they still count as canon, since X-Men '97 takes place after the events of those episodes
@@Particle_Ghost You're entitled to your opinion, but if you hate X-Men 97 because it's "woke", you never understood the X-Men anyways. Don't call yourself an X-Men fan while having no actual knowledge of who they are. The X-Men were always filled with metaphors and symbolisms about real world issues, like racism, sexism etc. If you just want action without reflections on social issues, the X-Men are not for you, you "hardcore" fan.
@@spider-than_comics Actually my opinion would be in the majority not the minority, the show already has extremely low viewership and around 70% of the original fans even stopped watching already. There is a ton of streamlining including character outfits and body shapes. If you've been paying attention to anything disney-related over the last five years you would quickly realize they are on a fast track out of business, which is why they keep trying to revive many of these old classics, there is nothing left. It's not because fans are actually asking for this stuff, they are out of options while destroying the original material which was always better, this goes for Star Wars and everything they touch.
@@Particle_Ghost what are you even talking about.... You are in the minority of the 6% of the audience that didn't rate the show 100%. And that 6% didn't necessarily rate it that much lower it just wasn't 100/100. The show immediately gained tons of fans and that's not me speaking, that's facts speaking. I really don't know what's your source of information, but if you see literally any rating, they're extremely high and that goes for both audience and critic ratings. And from the very first episodes of the show it was evident the viewership was high, stop making things up, X-Men 97 is considered by almost everyone as a way better interpretation of the characters than the movies or the og cartoon. Even the ones who think it has "woke" elements admit it's a damn good show. Ya I am ready
tbh I think the phoenix saga is better in the show than in the comics.
You know, I was just reading that story in the Phoenix Omnibus and to be honest, it may have been kinda stretched
I enjoyed the first three episodes of X-Men 97 and it's so awesome!!!
I need to get all the X-Men Epic Collections.
Getting the X-Men Epics was my first thought after rewatching the series!
Yes, I'm re watching the show to be prepare to the revival and honestly I'm surprised to realize that I watched back in the day like 20% of the show.
Yeah, cause when you watch a show on TV, it's likely you just watch some random episodes. I also noticed I had never seen many of them
@spider-than_comics exactly! I'm about to finish the third season right now.

i love this show it was really awesome
Pls do this for Spider-Man the animated series
Nice idea! I'll try to rewatch it in the next few days, but I'm a bit busy, so it might take a while
the show has been awesome so far 😃
More than awesome! Man, that 5th episode was one of the best things I've ever witnessed
Is the intro the same?

@@spider-than_comics Anything they remake is hot garbage and littered with streamlined character designs and woke nonsense, X-Men 97 doesn't exist.
