I’m in that desperate situation waiting for some ‘real’ naalbinding needles to arrive, where I might resort to making my own from a plant label. Interesting video thanks.
Plant label needles definitely work, but might snap lengthwise. You might get a sturdier needle gluing two labels together first, using a drill to make the hole and going from there. It's so frustrating waiting for stuff to arrive that you want NOW haha - I know the feeling!
Thank you for sharing your needles. I'm a beginner about to make my first needles, and this detailed review helps a lot!
I really liked this, the ones you made look also quite neat!
Thank you! 😊
I'm in love with your channel 🐤
thanks for sharing!!! :D i just got a new needle in the post today...it's all resin and super pretty!
Ooooh! I've never tried a resin needle!
@@HomeWithMyBookshelf me either but it's pretty smooth so I'm guessing no snags and easy stitching!

Love watching your videos 😃. What is the difference with 1 or 2 holes😳
With two holes you can get more yarn on your needle - here is a video I made about it: th-cam.com/video/hzhBzinRpoE/w-d-xo.html
You can smooth out the cheaper needles with a fine steel wool. That's what my husband did when he made mine.
Oooh, steel wool! That's a good idea, thank you!
