NO!,,NO,,!!!,,I did and nothing happened,,it will sense the extra over power and just sit there, it cuts off compleatly, wont do anything until you disconect the extra panels,,,read what he said above,,,just the power it is rated for,,,also beware that your voltage will spike up early in the morning and if it goes over 150volts ,,,again it all shuts off and you loose part of your days power

Hi I have an offgrid 24 volt outback system, when I run my generator at night to charge my batteries there a orange light that comes up, I think it the aux - and +, is that a problem as it goes off when I turn off the generator
There are two types of orange lights. If the batteries voltage passed below the threshold it will indicate orange and later turns green. The other orange light is by the AUX + and - Don't confuse these two lights. Maybe you should make a video when the generator is charging the batteries and upload it to your channel so I can see exactly what you talking about. I am NOT understanding your question. Please consult your owner's manual or OutBack Power Systems.
So what iam asking is when the generator is charging the batteries, the orange light aux -/+ comes on and stays on, will the inverter fan start up automatically making that orange light go off
@@jwsolarusa hi,how are you?my name's jeamson ,I have sixteen 6 volt batteries . flooded batteries ,can you tell me how to set an outback 80 amp for a 24 volt battery bank?
Two panels in series to create three strings of two's which is 47.1 x 2 = 94.2 VOC 47.1 x 2 = 94.2 VOC 47.1 x 2 = VOC: 94.2V Then parallel the three strings together to give you a total amperage of 9.6 x 3 = ISC: 28.8A to a disconnect breaker and then into your 80A charger controller. I am installing an FM80 next month in Congo. Is there any way that I can get in touch with you?
What do you need
I have 350w *6 panel with a flexmax 80 on a 24v system, how do I connect them. The panel parameters are; voc= 47.1, isc= 9.6, vmp=39.1, imp= 8.96
Two panels in series to create three strings of two's which is 47.1 x 2 = 94.2 VOC
