Tip : only loosen the back two bolts and remove the front bolts , the skid plate will slide out and not drop
Then you can slide the painted skid plate onto the back two bolts and line up the fronts after
This was the first thing I did to my blacked out 2023 ZR2 … I used EZ Liner and it’s held up ever since

Painted mine with bedliner spray from a rattle can. Did not take mine off to paint it … 4 months later & no flaking or chips yet.
