I have crohns and feel so comforted to find a youtuber who also has an autoimmune disease. You truly can’t understand it until you experience it. I am so happy you have been feeling better!! I will be starting to meet with a functional medicine dr soon 😁 I also do not drink bc I have liver disease.
The new Beach House album is so good 👏🏻 I think my favorite song is Hurts to Love ❤ Also very much feel you on having to take more proper care of yourself while being young! My health issues started when I was 13 so I've basically had a grandma body most of my life where even staying up late one night would cause me multiple days of feeling awful (still does), so you aren't alone! 💕
my spouse heard lindsey's voice coming from my laptop, realized it was a new video, and congratulated me on her uploading if that says anything about how much lindseyrem content i consume for comfort lol
Love this video! Feeling weird about going to get drinks is very relatable; I turned 21 right before everything shut down and in the past couple of years, all my close friends have moved, and now going out feels awkward because I don't have the people I would have gone with
This is one of my favorite videos ever of yours!! You are so wise. And I feel like we’re so similar (I also am a young person with chronic illness who also doesn’t drink other than like twice a year lol). It can be lonely to feel so different than your peers. So watching a video like this feels like a warm hug 🤍
Loved this video! ❤️ It's comforting to hear other people struggle to leave the house too. I went through a burnout in 2021 and as a side effect developed horrendous health anxiety that left me scared to leave the safety of my home. I'm slowly learning to be comfortable with going out more again, but while I'm proud of myself it can also feel embarrassing to be so awkward about something that most people think should come easily. The new Beach House album is magical ✨ Through Me has to be my favourite song, I literally start levitating when it comes on. I'm also seeing them here in the UK and going by myself to take myself on a date - that should for sure shock me out of my homebody life lol
I am also a young person with chronic illness and have been recently trying to find community, or even books or essays that talk about chronic or invisible illness as I begin to really navigate my life in a new way. Any recommendations for specific content creators, books, essays, etc?
I will definitely be listening to Liz Tran’s podcast! I’m also used to comedy podcasts but I need something a little more helpful to sprinkle in there.
Lindsey, your hair looks so beautiful & healthy. I know we’re not a big beauty place here, but would love to know any recommendations you have. Thank you! 💛
Good morning happy Thursday morning and I just wanted to say that your vlogs is sooo good and you are amazing Supporter and yes you are amazing vibe I'm proud of you and you are gorgeous
Idk why but i was smiling all the video long! I missed u girl! u haven't been active on Instagram also I worreid about u.. + So greatfull for your channel KEEP IT UP
Do you know if you have a vitamin B1 deficiency? I'm here from your all about therapy and anti anxiety med video, my symptoms seem similar to what you were experiencing back then, maybe you should check and see if you have that, maybe your already did that haha, glad you are doing better now
hi there. my name is jessica and i found your page searching for people who talk about being disabled some way. not sure if you knew but march is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and i am an alternative disabled content creator on multiple platforms including here on youtube. i didn't know about it until i googled myself. if you are open to having someone to do a collab on your channel/content i'm avaialable and would love to work with you! have a great day.
Love your videos but I have to say that, as a chronically ill person myself, it made me uncomfortable to hear you call in-person interactions “real life”, as if the virtual relationships disabled people have because we need to spend more time at home due to illness and low spoons are not “real.” They absolutely are real and meaningful. Please be more conscious of that language. 💛
