Hi I’m live in the outskirts of the city of Glasgow, Scotland with our nine kids, it looks pretty different to this lovely country living and mine attend school but we do love and follow Jesus and we wait for His return! We really had to have faith in our big family with finances etc and we have no grandparent help at all but it can be done when the Lord wills it! ❤

Given the fact that at the beginning, the earth was void of human, God indeed commanded his first children to multiply and 'fill the earth. Now the question is, isnt ghe world full enough? You are blessed to still have your husband's. It's hard yakker with 6 on your own as a Mum. Life certainly doesn't always turn out as we hope. I remember crying, praying, with my bible open one night regarding my family. The Holy Spirit reassurance to me was "look all through scripture, not one family is perfect". God is faithful and Has been good to us, we have seen Him work in miraculous ways. Stay close to Him.🙏❤️

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10. This is a very important verse in my life. Many times God has used this verse to remind me to just be still and quiet. Other times it's when I need the reminder that God is still in charge.

A stay at home mom, with just 4 children and the 5th on the way, I get so over overwhelmed many times. This video has highly encouraged me. My husband and I try to live intentional lives to God's glory and we're learning patience, total trust in God to give us that expected end.

After reading the comments, two things come to mind: the chapter where Paul discusses us being different parts of the body and some parts seem bigger or more important, etc- we are not all meant to be the same. And not everyone can do the “ideal” thing. Asking God to show you His vision for your life like this family did, and then wherever you are, BE a light to others. Also Paul talked about being content wherever he was. Some of us are called to be in ministry or in the workplace outside the home, etc, and don’t wish for the opposite. The other thing is, things will probably change as you get older and have different capabilities and needs, or your circumstances change. So what Paul said about “being content” in your circumstances, and also “don’t compare” yourself to others. We are all part of the Body of Christ and have various functions within it. God bless these two families and everyone commenting. Peace that passes understanding to all.

It is encouraging listening to someone who quit teaching to stay home with her children to glorify God. I am currently a stay at home mom after teaching for 4 years. It was a hard decision for me at first, but it has been a blessing. Praise the Lord!
I appreciate your comment Haley. I left working as a Pediatrician, to homeschool my children. I prayed for a long time about this, and I know that the Father has opened so much blessing for me in my home, to be able to teach and shape my children to know about the Father, and hopefully as they grow to truly walk with, and know Him. I also get to teach them practical life skills, that regular school just will never afford. I praise Him for the challenges though hard, that led me to making this big decision, and I am just trusting Him all along the way. My husband helps to support us in the best way he can through his efforts, I also do the best I can to live sustainably, and I have set up an Etsy Shop where I have designed Planners and Organizational tools to help offset the changes, and hopefully bless another mom or family with tools they can use to homeschool, and manage their home. I trust the Father in all of this, and I know though this road is tough, I have peace knowing I am doing the right thing for my family. Thank you for asking :-)

@@anaionescu4775 Your so welcome. I think many a concerned mom would have this question, because we would not want that something we have chosen to do, to be a hindrance to our family. However, we honestly have to seek for wisdom from the Father. I am particularly strengthened by this Bible verse. It is written in context of the children of Yisrael being told to guard His commands, and His ways, in order not to forget the Father, as they move to their promised land, but the principal is so practical for us even today. "But you shall remember YHWH your Elohim, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today." Deuteronomy 8:18 Wow is that verse powerful. It is the Father, that gives us the "power", the wisdom, and the ability to obtain what we need, and ultimately, He is doing this to fit His perfect and promised plan. This gives me peace, knowing that in trusting Him, and following his "ways", He grants us the way to provide. I hope this is encouraging to you, and that you will make the best decision for yourself and family. Thank you again for your question, because it reminded me of His promise, and helped me reflect on things again.

Oh my... what a blessing finding your channel has been and also this video. I am now 46 years old with 2 grown sons. There is so much i should have done differently, we started out on the right path, and turned away when some bad things happened in the church we were a part of. We all turned away, thats been 12 years ago. God has continued to work in our lives though, and a couple years ago I started hearing Him again. I have made so many mistakes and now I am praying every single day that God will bring my family back into alignment with His will. I am so encouraged by seeing you all working so hard for your families. I pray for God to keep moving in your lives and that he continue to use you to reach others. Thank you

I also still isolate because of age, but enjoy being able to participate in church services online. Also try to reach out to others who are also lonely or ill by telephoning at least one person per day. Perhaps one of these suggestions might help you. Also, I feel sure one of your local churches would be glad to contact you if you asked them to. God cares about you even more than I do, so please ask Him to make His presence known to you. That's what I'm going to be praying for you, and that He'll also provide some human contact so you won't feel so lonely. Hugs and prayers ♥️🙏
I'm working as a housemother of 20 girls who come from difficult backgrounds. Even before I took on this role, I have already been following Tiny Notes From Home. This video has been extra special as it has encouraged me to be intentional with the children under my care, and to see myself as God's beloved child everytime I feel overwhelmed. I am adopting the Titus 2:13-14 as a vision for myself and for the kids too! Oh thanks also for the Sounds Like Reign channel. I play the songs, and memorize them to teach my children, and sing to myself too when I do not know what to do anymore. Thank you, and God bless your family even more!
Thank you for these videos! The intentional, multigenerational vision is so lacking even among believers. If you have 10 kids, you are raising 10 families and 10 grandparents too. If they each have at least 5 kids, that’s 50 grandkids and 50 more families and so on. The influence you have NOW in your children will ripple down for many years to come. Our God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!

The reality is different though in our case here in Europe... I would love soooooo much such family like yours for myself and my child, but it's not easy, actually impossible when you are a widow with one child... ... unless there is a widower with a child ( children) who loves and dreams about family like yours.... Jesus is really everything to us. The point is not understood enough how everything He is but nicely put in the discussion. So in grace and mercy Jesus being the Good Shepherd of the Sheep, guides us and molds us into His likeness through the Holy Spirit. That amazing. That's loyal love. I too feel very overwhelmed at times w my 6 kids. It is very good that your spouses are at home and make it a point to lead and help. It makes a huge difference! Yeah that kindness wins the day in your homes. I need to ask Him how I can change to be more kind ( or how I can yield to let him show His kindness better thru me.)
I too went to school to become a teacher and after graduating ended up working only a little while before becoming a mom. I never returned and I am still a sahm to this day. People around me don’t get why I would go to university and then become a sahm, but it’s what God had intended for our family. He has blessed us tremendously over the years. She’s also so right that children are a tool in the Fathers hand to sanctify us as parents.
Very encouraging! We have 9 children as well and have the same priorities. And thank you for the honesty about overwhelm. I have also been going to the Lord in those moments and praying through it.

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this video Lindsay and Brackin. I was truly encouraged by hearing about a mom that chose to follow the Father the first, and honor him as a "Keeper of her home", and I truly admire the stand of hearing about a father leading in his home, and providing for his family. I know it is a difficult decision to be in a career, and having to make the choice of leaving, and caring for your children, in home, and homeschooling. I personally look back on the Father's leading in my life as a Pediatrician, through some very challenging times, that led me after much prayer, to move away from the "traditions" that were honestly not healthy, as I learned more and more about what health, and true medicine really is. Now I am so blessed to be able to homeschool my children, and tend to my home, and I just continue to trust in the Father for His leading and provision. At home, I can truly help to encourage my children to not only "know about", but really, "walk with" and "know" the Father, and I can also help to teach others about health in ways I could not before. Something, I could not do previously, due to lack of time, and work constraints. Thank you so much Lindsay and Brackin for now sharing more videos, about the stories of other families as well. I really enjoy them as they are such an encouragement to me, to see other families striving to serve the Father together, and taking the "narrow" road in life. Subscribed to the Roleys! This video is very timely. Thank you for sharing it. A few days ago, 1 Corinthians 16:15 really struck me. Paul wrote about Stephanas and his household. They were the firstfruits, the first to respond when Paul preached the gospel in Achaia. Then they went on to devote, or ordain, or appoint themselves to the ministry of the saints. We don't know much more about them. Perhaps they heard Paul giving a message along the lines of Romans 12. No visions, no angelic visitations, no framed Bible College qualifications on the office wall. Just born again, and wanting to offer themselves as a family to the Lord.

I don't have any children but this has blessed me in a different way, in that God has been calling me to be intentional about my music for Him. He is giving me more opportunities to sing and to give my testimony and I am learning to say yes and not to be fearful. I will be intentional about practicing and singing for the Lord. I know this is still a new form for you all- but I almost desire these interviews to be longer. Maybe not even asking specific questions to be answered - but to let their answers form the video highlights. Even just to ask them to share their whole life journey; most believers I've met can summarize the highs/lows and major moments in that in a reasonable amount of time (1 hour) and let your questions stem from that. If that makes any sense. I still have so many more questions about their family that I'm interested in!
As someone who grew up in a very broken family of 10 children, getting taken away and given back many times, l pray your children will never take their eyes off Jesus. He is my Saviour forever. My favorite chapter is John 17. Jesus is praying for you and me. I am 71 years old. God's blessings on all.

I want to be a light to draw my family to God, and be intentioonal about seeking God’s will for me as a mother who wants to Glorify God, and be a light to adult children who follow their own path.Our children are not peaceful with each other, May God help me to model God’s peace for our family. Working a daycare, helps teach you how to handle taking care of bigger groups of children: lesson plans, to be done by each Monday, give yourself. A theme for the week too: do memorization exercises: sit all the kids in a circle. & have each child repeat the first line, one after the other 😊then, next day, do line2, same way, etc etc😊
Praise God. Thank you for sharing this, it is uplifting and encouraging to start small, but be consistent. So help me God, to be a man after your heart and to lead the family by trusting in You and obeying you.

After reading the comments, two things come to mind: the chapter where Paul discusses us being different parts of the body and some parts seem bigger or more important, etc- we are not all meant to be the same. And not everyone can do the “ideal” thing. Asking God to show you His vision for your life like this family did, and then wherever you are, BE a light to others. Also Paul talked about being content wherever he was. Some of us are called to be in ministry or in the workplace outside the home, etc, and don’t wish for the opposite. The other thing is, things will probably change as you get older and have different capabilities and needs, or your circumstances change. So what Paul said about “being content” in your circumstances, and also “don’t compare” yourself to others. We are all part of the Body of Christ and have various functions within it. God bless these two families and everyone commenting. Peace that passes understanding to all.

It is encouraging listening to someone who quit teaching to stay home with her children to glorify God. I am currently a stay at home mom after teaching for 4 years. It was a hard decision for me at first, but it has been a blessing. Praise the Lord!
I appreciate your comment Haley. I left working as a Pediatrician, to homeschool my children. I prayed for a long time about this, and I know that the Father has opened so much blessing for me in my home, to be able to teach and shape my children to know about the Father, and hopefully as they grow to truly walk with, and know Him. I also get to teach them practical life skills, that regular school just will never afford. I praise Him for the challenges though hard, that led me to making this big decision, and I am just trusting Him all along the way. My husband helps to support us in the best way he can through his efforts, I also do the best I can to live sustainably, and I have set up an Etsy Shop where I have designed Planners and Organizational tools to help offset the changes, and hopefully bless another mom or family with tools they can use to homeschool, and manage their home. I trust the Father in all of this, and I know though this road is tough, I have peace knowing I am doing the right thing for my family. Thank you for asking :-)

@@anaionescu4775 Your so welcome. I think many a concerned mom would have this question, because we would not want that something we have chosen to do, to be a hindrance to our family. However, we honestly have to seek for wisdom from the Father.
I am particularly strengthened by this Bible verse. It is written in context of the children of Yisrael being told to guard His commands, and His ways, in order not to forget the Father, as they move to their promised land, but the principal is so practical for us even today.
"But you shall remember YHWH your Elohim, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today."
Deuteronomy 8:18
Wow is that verse powerful. It is the Father, that gives us the "power", the wisdom, and the ability to obtain what we need, and ultimately, He is doing this to fit His perfect and promised plan. This gives me peace, knowing that in trusting Him, and following his "ways", He grants us the way to provide.
I hope this is encouraging to you, and that you will make the best decision for yourself and family.

Oh my... what a blessing finding your channel has been and also this video. I am now 46 years old with 2 grown sons. There is so much i should have done differently, we started out on the right path, and turned away when some bad things happened in the church we were a part of. We all turned away, thats been 12 years ago. God has continued to work in our lives though, and a couple years ago I started hearing Him again. I have made so many mistakes and now I am praying every single day that God will bring my family back into alignment with His will. I am so encouraged by seeing you all working so hard for your families. I pray for God to keep moving in your lives and that he continue to use you to reach others. Thank you

Praying for you Wendy. I know what it's like to feel lonely, because I have no family closer than 5 hours away. I also still isolate because of age, but enjoy being able to participate in church services online. Also try to reach out to others who are also lonely or ill by telephoning at least one person per day. Perhaps one of these suggestions might help you. Also, I feel sure one of your local churches would be glad to contact you if you asked them to. God cares about you even more than I do, so please ask Him to make His presence known to you. That's what I'm going to be praying for you, and that He'll also provide some human contact so you won't feel so lonely. Hugs and prayers ♥️🙏

Thank you for these videos! The intentional, multigenerational vision is so lacking even among believers. If you have 10 kids, you are raising 10 families and 10 grandparents too. If they each have at least 5 kids, that’s 50 grandkids and 50 more families and so on. The influence you have NOW in your children will ripple down for many years to come. Our God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!

Jesus is really everything to us. The point is not understood enough how everything He is but nicely put in the discussion. So in grace and mercy Jesus being the Good Shepherd of the Sheep, guides us and molds us into His likeness through the Holy Spirit. That amazing. That's loyal love. I too feel very overwhelmed at times w my 6 kids. It is very good that your spouses are at home and make it a point to lead and help. It makes a huge difference! Yeah that kindness wins the day in your homes. I need to ask Him how I can change to be more kind ( or how I can yield to let him show His kindness better thru me.)

I too went to school to become a teacher and after graduating ended up working only a little while before becoming a mom. I never returned and I am still a sahm to this day. People around me don’t get why I would go to university and then become a sahm, but it’s what God had intended for our family. He has blessed us tremendously over the years.
She’s also so right that children are a tool in the Fathers hand to sanctify us as parents.
Very encouraging! We have 9 children as well and have the same priorities. And thank you for the honesty about overwhelm. I have also been going to the Lord in those moments and praying through it.

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this video Lindsay and Brackin. I was truly encouraged by hearing about a mom that chose to follow the Father the first, and honor him as a "Keeper of her home", and I truly admire the stand of hearing about a father leading in his home, and providing for his family.
I know it is a difficult decision to be in a career, and having to make the choice of leaving, and caring for your children, in home, and homeschooling. I personally look back on the Father's leading in my life as a Pediatrician, through some very challenging times, that led me after much prayer, to move away from the "traditions" that were honestly not healthy, as I learned more and more about what health, and true medicine really is.
Now I am so blessed to be able to homeschool my children, and tend to my home, and I just continue to trust in the Father for His leading and provision. At home, I can truly help to encourage my children to not only "know about", but really, "walk with" and "know" the Father, and I can also help to teach others about health in ways I could not before. Something, I could not do previously, due to lack of time, and work constraints.
Thank you so much Lindsay and Brackin for now sharing more videos, about the stories of other families as well. I really enjoy them as they are such an encouragement to me, to see other families striving to serve the Father together, and taking the "narrow" road in life.

Subscribed to the Roleys! This video is very timely. Thank you for sharing it. A few days ago, 1 Corinthians 16:15 really struck me. Paul wrote about Stephanas and his household. They were the firstfruits, the first to respond when Paul preached the gospel in Achaia. Then they went on to devote, or ordain, or appoint themselves to the ministry of the saints. We don't know much more about them. Perhaps they heard Paul giving a message along the lines of Romans 12. No visions, no angelic visitations, no framed Bible College qualifications on the office wall. Just born again, and wanting to offer themselves as a family to the Lord.

I don't have any children but this has blessed me in a different way, in that God has been calling me to be intentional about my music for Him. Thank you for your opening a partial window on your lives. I may have to start home schooling my daughter soon? Live in G.B. Don't tend to have such large families here. Nor have the opportunities to either. Envious of American's that have large home steads given your land.
I know this is still a new form for you all- but I almost desire these interviews to be longer. Maybe not even asking specific questions to be answered - but to let their answers form the video highlights. Even just to ask them to share their whole life journey; most believers I've met can summarize the highs/lows and major moments in that in a reasonable amount of time (1 hour) and let your questions stem from that. If that makes any sense. I still have so many more questions about their family that I'm interested in!
As someone who grew up in a very broken family of 10 children, getting taken away and given back many times, l pray your children will never take their eyes off Jesus. He is my Saviour forever. My favorite chapter is John 17. Jesus is praying for you and me. I am 71 years old. God's blessings on all.

I want to be a light to draw my family to God, and be intentioonal about seeking God’s will for me as a mother who wants to Glorify God, and be a light to adult children who follow their own path.Our children are not peaceful with each other, May God help me to model God’s peace for our family. Working a daycare, helps teach you how to handle taking care of bigger groups of children: lesson plans, to be done by each Monday, give yourself. A theme for the week too: do memorization exercises: sit all the kids in a circle. & have each child repeat the first line, one after the other 😊then, next day, do line2, same way, etc etc😊
