Thanks! I just don’t understand why you don’t have a million subscribers? Between the fact that you write your own stories, narrate them, research the authors for the stories that you narrate and don’t write…. Add to the above that the inflection in your reading is above and beyond most narrators who… (I say with no disrespect) aren’t talented authors as well! You simply are beyond impressive! Thank You Truly! Blessed Be Kat
Thanks Jordan and Rene. Have a feeling that the woman was there all along. He knew that he listen to music so knew that once out the room he'd not hear what was going on. Rule of any horror movie never split up as something always bad happens.
Not at all what I expected! It was like the first part of an episode of a TV police procedural. Having worked as an overnight janitor - alone - in a large building, it always freaked me out when someone else was in the building when I arrived at 11:00pm. Even more so if I didn’t discover them until 2:00 or 3:00am. I had my fair share of homeless people sleeping in bathrooms and hidden in storage rooms, too, including one night in which I was being chased around by a crazy woman who had a big knife in her hand. My job transitioned to night security after that when they hired someone else to do the cleaning, so there would always be two people in the building at the same time.
Hey there, author here. In the original version, I had it being revealed that the creepy guy wasn't a programer, but the woman's stalker and murderer, who then fled the scene. I tried to hint at it in the new version with the narrator thinking that the guy must've snuck in just like them, but couldn't just flee the scene because they were there, and would obviously notice what he'd done. I decided to leave the long-winded explanation out, and end the story on a more somber note (with the narrator realizing, that the woman wasn't yet dead when he first entered the office). But I can see it's a bit confusing / missing something.
@rehnwriter thanks for clarifying & that was my guess. I don't mean to be discouraging, I'm a creative soul, too. I only "dislike" it because of the confusion it brings. I also probably wouldn't normally comment that, but others had, as well. 💕

Thank you so much! You're very kind 😊 hopefully we'll get there one day!
Never been in this situation, but still feel like I would have called 911 much sooner.

@@user-PuppyDan I got 5 minutes in and thought "oh no"!
Yikes! I’ve had a couple of jobs where I worked very late in an otherwise empty building. Both were warehouse buildings.

So I'm confused did that guy just whack everybody because he was in a bad mood and hated his job and his boss or....😂😂
Me 3. I'm not really a fan of these that just don't click...
