Did you know that faithful QUEEN fans are called QUEENIES!! That’s what Freddie called his fans in the early years. He also called his fans BEAUTIES!! Freddie definitely loved his fans! Check out LOVE OF MY LIFE live in Rock Rio 1985. It will blow you away! And SOMEBODY TO LOVE live in Montreal 1981.
This song was voted the happiest song ever...poor Freddie paid a huge price but love him. Bohemian Rapsody is really a coming out song but is disguised to be open to other interpretations..he did not come out formally. React to: PLAY THE GAME at Milton Keynes...crazy energy..apparently was very angry about something...he was a very nice person off stage and shy too
Why do you people always think his songs are him coming out. Freddie didn't even know he was gay then. He was straight. It was just a awesome song. Just like with I want to break free it wasn't him coming out it was a woman's rights song for Europe by John
Personally, I prefer to listen to a song at first with no preconceived notions. All the members of Queen, especially Freddie, believed that a song's meaning should be personal to the listener and not dependent on what the composer was thinking at the time. Freddie purposely refused to explain the meaning behind any of his songs because he didn't want to destroy the image the song conjured in a person. I choose to investigate the story behind a song AFTER I have listened to it and become comfortable with what the song means to me personally.
In the case of Freddie's music though, I think it's better for reactors to get some facts beforehand... I've watched several video reactors really BOTCH their video reactions/actually upset subscribers, because they just give a "surface/lighthearted" listen to something that has a really deep/possibly painful message to (at least some) "die hard" Queen/Freddie fans. (Like "The Show Must Go On" or "I'm Going Slightly Mad", for example.)
I love this song don’t believe everything on internet! Interpreting myself having a good time with the cars in the windows rolled down going on a small trip just having a blast in life I’m 62 years old woman and I can relate nobody’s gonna stop me I’m going to enjoy life! Hope the cops don’t pull me over for a speeding ticket !!!!!!
This is my first time watching you react to a song and you certainly picked a good one by a great band! I am not sure what Queen songs you have done Queenie, but some you may want to consider are the official video to "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Somebody To Love" live in Montreal 1981, from that same concert in Montreal, "Love Of My Life" and their performance (the entire 22 minutes) at Live Aid 1985! Never forget, you can never go wrong with Queen, ever! Merry Christmas Queenie Pie!
HI there, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I just want to wish you a very Happy New Year. I am really excited to be able to be finally catching up with my favourite YT friends while sorting and organising my house post Christmas.. A full view as always and I hope that 2021 will be a wonderful year for you.. please take care X Michelle
@@norlinmh1465 I've read an interview piece from Brian that said something similar... That when he saw Freddie's lyrics, he was "very sad" because he knew that Fred was getting "out of control" w drug use/partying. But, I'm sorry I don't remember where I read this.
@@norlinmh1465 he said he didnt like it and had to have words with him because his songs started having gay overtones He has recently said it was because they were concerned about him Recorded in 78 i cant see anything to suggest reason to be concerned about him personally His relationship with David was coming to an end and he met Joe

Dumb Analysis you shouldn’t read first sorry lady songs need to be interpreted by your own feelings your own situation not what other people say or write about big mistake miss judging him harshly!
I honestly live to watch people seeing Freddie for the first time, that's my life now.

Right with you. I play the game of "are they lying or not".

Love the song. Merry Christmas Queenie!!!
merry christmas to you too!!!!!

React to "prophet Muhammad -the greatest man in history-mind blowing".
Brian May in the past month actually said it as the happiest and sad queen song at the same time as Freddie was seriously on coke at this point
Ooh, can you point me to the source for this? I've heard he doesn't like this song, but not from any interview, just allusions to it.
