How precious is your Papaw?! All of my grandparents are gone. I love to listen to the stories from the older generations. My Granny had a well on her property. I miss going to her house and drinking that cold, clean water.
This is so nice. We are 78 and 79 and once we had lots of grandparents aunts and uncles, parents...only about three Aunts and uncles now..rest all passed away. Treasure them while you can!😊
PawPaw is so precious! These are family memories that will last a lifetime ❤
Every family gathering, we make homemade orange pineapple ice cream, sweet condensed milk, crushed pineapple, and orange crush soda. Must be the orange crush, no substitute. We always serve in the red plastic cups. Grandpa got his first. Now my dad is a grandpa, and he gets his first. One day my husband will be a grandpa, he will get his first.
In a world of change, it’s nice to hang on to the old traditions.
Such a sweet video with your grandpa. Enjoy and cherish. The greatest generation 🇺🇸
Being old and a grand and great grandmother can't tell you what it means to get visits from our kids. You will never regret the time yall spend with him. Yall are precious to visit and take time for him.
Precious memories. You are ensuring your children learn about their heritage and the IMPORTANCE of family. My grandpa passed away when I was two years old. I have no memories of him. I heard stories of how he carried me around. My parents lived next door to my grandparents. I would go to the fence and holler for my grandpa. He would supposedly lift me over the fence just walk and carry me. I never saw a picture of him until I was sixty years old. My grandmother was a bitter person. I don't remember her ever saying a kind word to anyone. My daddy was a quite stoic man. He fought in the Korean War and he battled depression. He took his life when I was sixteen. I have grieved his death ever since. He was my knight in shining armor. I loved my daddy so much, but not enough for him to want to live. Maybe if I had loved him more? I watch your vlogs and you speak of your faith and your love for Jesus. I wish I could believe or feel that faith. Death has been a constant visitor in my life. I feel empty and void. I tried attending church and listening to the sermons and reading the Bible. The scripture just swirls around in my head and nothing makes sense or connects. I was a momma and a wife and at one time a daughter. I witnessed my husband pass away. I can vividly replay the impact and watching him take his last breath. I had four amazing sons who when I became their momma, I knew exactly my role in life was to be their momma. My heart was honored to love them and have them as my sons. One by one, just as they came into my life they passed away. Why??????
I am alone. I have no family. I will not let anyone close or care about anyone. Everyone I love dies. Why bless someone with such an amazing wonderful thing and then rip your heart to pieces by taking them away? Why leave me here to grieve and long for my family? What did I do to deserve such sorrow, pain and grief? I don't expect an answer but love your family and cherish your children and most of all share your experiences and memories with them so they know who they are and where they come from.
(I have tried counseling and anti depressants. No pill can take away my sadness and grief. Talking to someone who looks at a clock and goes yes and how does that make you feel, then announces times up I will see you next week? Does not help.)
That's a lot of grief and pain for someone to carry. The best thing we can do is lay it at the feet of Jesus. I know that is hard and confusing. Perhaps one day we will understand. I'm saying a special prayer for you. ❤️
What a lovely treat, spending time with Papaw. Thank you for taking us along. I hope he's keeping in good health, he definitely looks amazingly well. Glad you all enjoyed your ice cream. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend 💞

Great video. I miss my Grandpa. He always had a large garden and great stories.
Your papaw is precious, I sure miss mine, they've been gone alot of years.
I love pawpaw…he has so much wisdom. I love how y’all engage him in adding to the conversation! So glad you’ll have these videos forever! Love those little boys..oh man!! Makes me smile!! You’re such a sweet, giving person. Audrey knows so much from you already. Great video as usual. You spoil us! Stay cool. It hot here as well. Ice cream looks yummy! I got stung by a wasp and it’s taking awhile to heal. You’re right, bee stings, wasp stings hurt! You are appreciated! Miss Linda 🥰🍨🐝
I love this, one day this visit will be a treasure for you to look back on. I’ve lost both sets of my grandparents and both of my parents and I realized, when a generation dies off, some much history and knowledge is lost. I wish I had thought about asking as many questions and writing them down while they were all still alive. I’m 75 now and I’m going to start writing down as much about my life and what I’ve learned as I can, and leaving for my family. They may not appreciate right away, but one day they will.
I enjoyed spending time with your paw paw. My grandparents have long been gone so seeing ya'll sitting on the porch talking okree and tomatoes and making ice cream, brings back memories of times long ago.
I love to see papaw I miss seeing him in your videos
Great seeing papaw have a blessed night friend 🙏
Such a blessing to see you and the family with Papaw♥
Beautiful memories made today!❤
Love having PawPaw in the vlog!! Hearing his wisdom & memories from the past. My Gpa is probably around the same age & I love sitting down with him & hearing past memories
Such sweet memories
This is precious! It makes me miss my Papaw! And I smile when I saw "okree". I'm pretty sure I was grown before I heard it pronounced any other way. Even though we were from the deep South, my Mamaw and Papaw originally were from North Alabama/North Georgia. Southern Appalachian was their heritage and upbringing. I still to this day try to tell people how to pronounce "okree", but they rarely believe me 😂
Your Papaw is just the sweetest,my Papaw passed away in his 90's and he made the best corn bread ever,he had lots and lots of money but was stingy, lol,he drank out of tin cans.I never got to meet my Grandma's because they had passed away before i was born, like i've said before,i'm the youngest of 9 and i just turned 60(I'm old) I feel like y'all are my family and i love y'all!😇🥰💕❤💯
Thanks for sharing your video with papaw and kids
Making beautiful memories ❤
This video completely warms my heart-building cherished memories🥰
Hey PawPaw it's good to see you. I love this video. This is the same way we make ice cream..
So
Much fun my great grandpa had one of those and he made it for us kids when I was little at my sisters house long time ago, that ice cream looks so good
Thanks. Blessings
I would like to suggest for all of you who no longer have grandparents or parents on this earth to think about spending time at a nursing home. There are so many elderly who have nobody. They still have a lot of love to give and they need to be loved. And they have wonderful stories. I spend a lot of time there visiting my family member and I see it every day. I try to speak, hug and show them some much needed kindness. God bless.
Loved This Video Tiffany I Love You And Your Beautiful Family Too!!! ❤❤❤
Love pawpaw 💕 so so sweet ❤
Reminds me so much of my papaw. We were military the last 20 years and I’ve missed a lot of time with him but I love my visits! Love the slow life they live, life goals 💙
This is so so sweet!! My grandkids are 2, 5, 6, 9 and 11. The 2-yr old lives 5 hours away in TN and the other 4 live 10 hours away in IL. It breaks my heart that they don’t get to be around their great grandparents here in AL. They have 4 great grandparents, 92, 92, 83 and 82 years old and just don’t get this sweet time with them. Y’all are so blessed!
Very blessed!
Awe he is precious loving his mommy 😊😊😊😊
So sweet of you to share this with us❤. What beautiful memories you are making. I miss my grandparents terribly. I wish I had videos of them or even more pictures. I loved hearing Papaw and love that we got the gem of advice to pay attention to how many fogs we get in August and that should be how many snows we get. Things like that and remedies for things and gardening tips and tricks and cooking tips and tricks are things I think we are losing as we lose our older generation which is so sad. Thats one of the things I love about your channel is that you try to keep these things alive by sharing these types of things with us. The more we can learn from Papaw the better! Lots of love ❤ from Nicole in Indiana
I feel an incredible importance over me about keeping those old ways alive. Thank you so much for being here and supporting us! ❤️

I enjoyed this vlog so much. Just listening to your pa pa & your kids playing in the background brought me joy. Your pa pa is precious as is your small town life....❤
❤️❤️❤️
The Happy Cake recipe is very similar to my upside down German chocolate cake. I use a deviled food cake mix instead of a yellow cake and mix it with he stick of butter and 1 egg. In the bottom of a 1 13x9 pan I layer coconut and pecans, pour the cake over it put in the oven at 350 and let it begin baking. Then in a bowl beat together the a Box of powdered sugar 1 egg, stick of butter melted and 8 oz cream cheese. When you have that together get the cake out of the oven and pour the mix around the edge of the cake and through the middle and place back in the oven and finish baking for 30-45 minutes all together it is definitely a favorite in my house.
❤❤❤
Seems like it was just the other day you went in the hospital to have a baby, can’t believe he’s grown so much!!! You have such a wonderful family!! ❤️

Anyway I am an old retired lady , a widow also. I am enjoying what little I have watched and I see you have many many videos. Maybe eventually I will find the time to watch all of them . God bless. I live in South Alabama. I am new to the channel, often wondered where they lived, but didn't want to intrude. Love the channel, of course very familiar living!
♥♥
the horse shoe hung up put it the other was it ment to be good look if its pointing down means the luck is running out the other way means you will have good look xxxkathy
I've also heard pointing down allows good luck to flow out and surround a home. Although I don't necessarily believe in luck. :) It's been hanging like that for as long as I can remember. :)
