Don’t feel bad abt calling our “pens”, “cannons”😅 So many reactors did it😂 So, “PENstriped” it’s a word play of the word “pinstriped” but instead of “pin” it’s “pen” the pinstripes stem from our competition uniforms with the pinstripes on the right side. Also side note, the uniform and shoes are light grey, not white. It’s easier to see up close😅. The pen refers to us writing our story on the field both in the music we play and the drill we march. Of course you found the “cannons” are pens, and there are ink drops on the front that get more colorful as the show continues, along with an ink spill where the Saxophone Ensemble plays. Kind of the story we’re telling with the show is our history throughout the years with the sets being an old Hebron logo at the start, italicizing an H, our own name, and others that are new or referencing our past. Our music sometimes does the same with the types of features we do sounding like our past ones such as the closer High Brass feature being reminiscent of our 2019 double tonguing feature. I hope I explained some of this cohesively, and sorry for the massive mini essay😅
