I remember when I was around age 13, I was living up in Highlands, Colorado. I was living in a small complex on the side of a steep hill near a river. Me and my dog would go down the steep hill to go berry hunting and just to have some fun.
One day, I went to the side of the hill I'd usually travel down. The forest looked... darker? For some reason, it was quiet. No birds, no squirrels, nothing. I felt scared, but pushed the feeling away because I thought I was just being a "Scardy cat"
Me and Sparticus (my dog) went down deeper into the forest, going towards the river. All the while, I started feeling more and more scared.
When I got to the river, I looked around and didnt really notice anything out of the ordinary. I tried to calm down, but for some reason the forest felt so... dark and foreboding.
Suddenly, Sparticus yelped and started running up the hill again. In a panic, not wanting to be left alone, I scrambled up the hill (which was hard, due to fallen logs, bramble, and loose wet ground).
When I reached Sparticus, he was staring down into the woods. I looked to where he was looking. By the river, near where I was standing, was a large brown bear. It looked mangy, tattered fur and missing patches of its fur around its neck. It was watching us, just standing there. Motionless.
I was terrified, calling for my mom and running away with Sparticus not far behind me. I never saw something like that again, and the forest never looked so dark again. Idk what that feeling was, but I feel I nearly escaped a mauling that day. I'm scared to go into any darker forest now, let alone a forest alone.

@@cuttingaway123 I did feel bad later in retrospect, but at the time, I was terrified and wanted to just run inside and curl up in my bed. I thought I had a brush with death, and at that time, I was probably 12. So the concept of me actually dieing kinda hit me smack in the face. Later, I did feel bad for the bear. It makes sense to me. Until midnight the search probably covered and completed the quarter-mile between the log cabin and the farmhouse. At 3 am summertime there may have been just 1-2 hours remaining of darkness, which would have been ok searching off the path and down the valley below the log cabin for miles. But searchers returning up the valley would have daylight by that time to help them locate and return to the log cabin or meeting point, without getting lost.

If you are looking for suggestions for Missing 411 cases, might I suggest the disappearance of Micah Tice. This young man was an air force cadet who disappeared while hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Once he was reported missing, the air force, national guard, and dozens of search and rescue went looking for him but never found him. I think bad weather may have also hampered the search. Micah's body was found months, or maybe a year, later in the same area all of these people were looking. Anyway, since I first heard of this young man disappearing I've felt it was a Missing 411. Also, have you profiled the disappearance of Carl Robert Disch? He was a scientist who disappeared from a lab in Antarctica. His story has many Missing 411 elements too.

@@pamalawashington9371 A lot of the Missing 411 cases share common elements. A lot of them record inclement weather directly before or after the person goes missing. Also some similarities include that people who go missing are either particularly young or old, that they tend to have Germanic surnames, that they tend to be highly educated, that they tend to be mentally ill or physically disabled, and more recently that they were wearing red when they went missing. Often bodies are found partially undressed or wedged in crevices, and that it's particularly strange when remains or clothing is found near water or up high on hills. (Note, I am not passing this off as fact, I am simply passing on what the people who investigate 411 believe.)

Testing for butane content and other poisons, plus local approved growers with rigorous rules so you know quality is good (and content listed on the package) and you know it isn't money possibly passing into some long cartel chain or funding shady people. Some thing that should be mentioned,
specifically about the clocks being "stopped"
this is NOT an indication of supernatural influence,
but only that no one had been there to wind the clocks for a few days.
A standard practice would have been to wind all of the clocks on the same day,
since the point was keeping accurate time on all clocks,
so it is not strange that all of the clocks would have wound down at nearly the same time,
leaving each clock "stopped" at approximately the same time.

    • @Mikanojo
      @Mikanojo 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Cory Britton i am sorry if you are unfamiliar with the English word - APPROXIMATELY;
it means: almost, but not completely, accurate or exact; roughly.
And when you consider this is a lighthouse, funded by a single company,
needing to meet basic specifications to function AS a lighthouse,
      and recording daily reports,
the odds are VERY good indeed that all of these clocks, how ever many there were,
WOULD have been from the same manufacturer,
in ADDITION to all being wound precisely,
      and on the same day,
thus even further illustrating the point i made to begin with.

I had a old wind up clock years ago. I didn't have the key but still hung it on wall. One night at 10:15 p.m. we noticed the clock had started ticking. Around 11 the clock stopped. Few minutes later the phone rung and was told a uncle had been taken to the hospital and had died from a heart attack. It happened at 10:15 & he died at 11. The clock never ticked again.

@@MrRictusgrin Clocks were made by hand with precision parts, and again, since this lighthouse was constructed by a single company, all of the clocks would have VERY likely all have come from the same clock maker. Time keeping was NOT a casual happening in a lighthouse; they would have made every effort to have the most correct time keeping they could, and would have synchronized every clock with each other, probably at each rewinding.
So i write again, there is nothing supernatural about noting that the clocks all appear to have stopped at roughly the same time; no one was there to wind them, and having wound them all on the same day, perhaps within only a few minuted of each other, there is no reason why they would NOT show approximately the same time when they ran down.

You might want to add these connected incidents to one of your videos. Earlier this month of December 2019 in California on their Mount Baldy in Southern California a guy from (I think India) went missing and has not been found. Yes, the weather turned bad but as David Paulides says there was/is that moment of "separation" and also the weather. The fellow was on the North-side of the mountain and likely slipped off the cliff but who knows as he has not been found. However two other things happened 1. They found a different hiker alive that know one knew was missing! 2. One of the volunteers allegedly slipped down an ice shoot and was killed ending the search for the missing man from India. The source for this is the many multiple news channels in and around Los Angeles.

You indeed never know what’s out there...
Incredible cases! I’ve had my own share & im so thankful to be alive. So sad some of these cases! All of these cases! I’m always freaked out with the missing & dead cases without logical explanation. I can only imagine the horror of whatever they experienced.

Awesome video. I love the strange disappearance videos. The cases of very experienced hikers going missing are so baffling. The disabled man and the girl (Sam) going missing never to be found are so strange. The disabled man couldn’t have gone far enough to get lost. The only thing I can think of is that he was never there but his friend lied saying he was with him but something else happened to him. I can’t think of any explanation to explain the girl going missing. The man on the Crow Reservation who went missing is unnerving because they camped only 50 yards from where he was found. The FBI becoming involved is strange in itself. Why did they keep his body for 2 years. Doesn’t make sense. I look forward to more of these videos. Thank you for your hardwork and dedication. Yes, there are a lot of bad humans, who wouldn't think twice about abducting or ending a life, but there are even stranger phenomena that would probably change every single thing we thought we knew. When it comes to the three men missing in the Lighthouse, the fact it was left in such a bizarre way makes me believe that perhaps something really terrible took place. One coat was left behind, one of the chairs was flipped over, the food was left in place.
The job itself was probably lonely, and the mental states mentioned in it, concerning, the the relationship between the three men seemed it could have been very strained. It very well could have ended up with someone snapping during dinner, a huge argument taking place, turning into a fight. One of the men could very well have been killed in said fight, and the other two decided to flee. This would explain the reasoning for the one coat being left behind, the man that was killed wouldn't have a need for a coat, wouldn't have put it on. They could have tossed the body into the crashing depths below and with possible guilt, or whatever may have been in the mindset at the time, the remaining two decided to escape.
If someone was indeed killed, then I don't believe it was premeditated, not in the situation that it was left. The escape was definitely panicky, unless they really premeditated it to look as messy as it did in order to cover their tracks or plea insanity or something else if they were caught. That however seems a little bit much. No I believe that someone was killed in a fight during dinner, the chair having possibly been thrown or flipped back as a consequence of the fight, and in the end, at least one person could have died. The other two, escaping, or possibly committing suicide. (Though escaping from the island in the manner that they did may as well have been suicidal. I believe there were circumstances of weather or something else I recall being brought up in a different retelling of the story.)

It’s hair changes color to the environment to blend in humans can’t see it but can hear it. It’s about 250 lb. humanoid. It has wings and can fly. That’s all I can tell you.

Marie Burton five of us heard it land on are roof in a blizzard. But when we surrounded the house we could here it running but could not see it. Then after five runs back forth on are roof it flew off its hair was like holographic changed colors to its surroundings. Never been so scared in my life. None of us go out in the evening anymore. How did we know how big it was. Well we have a wood stove and sweep the chimney every year. It was heavier then 200 lb guy who does it for me. The speed it ran across in 18 inches of snow is impossible for a human.

Marie Burton how do I know it’s hair hologram well are fernace blow a week later. When we pulled the pipe to the roof there was the hair it must have caught its leg on it trying to run on are roof and fly off. The pipe was under the snow that day. Because fernace was t in use. We burn wood in the winter. The wind was so strong from the blizzard 60 miles per hour that day. I think that’s why it was stifling to take flight. We have a creek in are back yard and live right off the Great Lakes. We have huge black Berry’s in are back yard too. Scary every element of the missing 411 is on are land.

14:37 I bet it's that thing (Forgot the proper name of it) that also caused the Dyatlov Pass incident. There's a certain pitch of wind that can rapidly drive people insane when exposed to it. It induces a state of intense paranoia and fright for reasons scientists can't yet understand. It's something to do with the sound waves of it; it was suggested to be the reason for the erratic behaviour of the missing/dead people in Dyatlov Pass.

Sometimes I wonder why do I listen to these heartbreaking mysteries. But as Im naturally caring and always want to help I always hope I or anyone can offer any theory. I hope these people get some kind of closure so they dont have a life yearning and in pain 😔🙏 It angers me when I think that possibly they are people that know exactly whats happening to these missing people. I hope one day we know what these strange disappearances are all about.

I used to go into the snowpeak area of Idaho. I would go for weeks at a time. Once I was moving my gear into the sawtooth campground I couldn't carry it all in at once so I had to hang one pack in a tree and come back to get it later. When I got back it was pouring rain my pack I had in the tree was gone. I had it secured very well and out on a limb with underneath branches cut so a bear would be off balance if it did try to get it. The pack was gone no sign of any remains anywhere (and I had about 25 pounds of stuff not all food but alot of other munchies in there as well)but a pile of granola mounded up perfectly I mean with a point on top. The funny thing is there was 7 pounds of it in three different bags. And completely ruined from the rain. The rain continued all night I stood under the tree and in the morning it finally quit. I took off my rain poncho laid it on the ground and tried to get some sleep but something keep coming up close to me and from all sides screaming a real loud sound thinking back on it now it sounded like those zombies in the movie z. I was to tired to chase after them to see what they were so I just stayed put. Later when I did make it into the canyon creek site at the confluence of the little north fork river I could here music and the voice of a woman singing. This went on for nights mostly in the early morning hours. The second time I went in to the same area I took the trail along the little north fork of the Clearwater river. I did the same thing put stuff in a tree at the spotted loui creek campsite and moved on to the canyon creek area. When I came back to the first camp site there were three forked stick setups around my campfire spot. I thought for sure someone was playing a joke just like I did before the first time I had gone into the area. I pulled the little winner roaster setups out of the ground. They where small, maybe 8 inches over all. Gave them a quick glance and noticed they were sharpened to a point on the end that was stuck in the ground. They were only an eighth of an inch in diameter at best I mean small. I set them back behind where I was sitting got up to get something out of my pack.only a minute at most I was still wondering about it. Came back and they were gone. And then up the spotted loui trail side all hell broke loose. It sounded like 2 trees being beat together and lasted for about 5 minutes at most. And that got the hair to stand up on my neck a little bit. I just stayed in camp. I did hear music coming from the river at the canyon creek site again just like before. The music was very strange sounding . That's my tale of weirdness in the wilderness. Take care

      What an amazing story
..you should be very careful from now on.
That music you heard is not human music ...and the woman singing is not a human being either.
Please don't go back to that place again it's not safe and they don't want you there.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว

You went into that place by yourself? Are you out of your mind? I would not go anywhere in the woods by myself and unarmed. I'm glad you're alive to tell us about it.
