To solve it would be:

So that means for example
2(3) means 2 OF 3
and *of* should be simplified before division.

The J pathway is gonna take way too long because the first tanks that are gonna get filled up are probably H or K so the water has to go through J and L and then start filling up H or through J and I and then start filling up K. On the D pathway its way quicker because it only has to go through D and then G starts filling up.
