- This is an honest review of the Dockside Inn and Suites at the Endless Summer Resort at Universal Orlando. We have stayed at this resort many times and as a family of 5 this value resort is one of our top picks on property.

My family is vacationing to Universal in 2025 and as we've never stayed there and there are several hotels to choose from, we wanted to find a good video review of the Dockside Inn. After watching dozens of videos, let me just say yours is BY FAR the best. This was so genuinely helpful. Really well organized, well written, you showed the stuff you were talking about, it wasn't a vlog, and you had really great good-to-knows in there! Keep up the good work! Would love to see more quality content like this.

I really like how the hotel is designed as if you're really dockside. Thank you for your tour- this is nice video so that everything looks familiar on arrival. There's a lot to take in and that helps a lot!

We second that! You have found the secret sauce on great reviews. Hopefully people will find your reviews long before going through the forest of reviews highlighting where the safe and ironing board is located. It's surprising how hard it is to find out if a microwave is in the rooms. The size of the fridge and storage space are most important. Can't wait to see your review on all the other hotels.

As much as we love Universal, they just don’t have enough info on their website about the resorts. And sometimes you just need to know all the things before going! Thanks, Im staying at this hotel in September. It was a recommendation, but I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Thankfully I made the right choice, judging by your video. I'm in love with the modern look, with the pool area, with the shops, the food options... I'm even more excited to our trip, didn't know that was possible. Now I just want to skip the entire year LOL

I stayed here for a week in Jan/Feb. Nice hotel. Very similar to Cabana Bay but without the lazy river & water slide. The extras like bowling are always so busy at CB you might as well save some money & stay here.
I agree 100%! We also stayed there in Jan and Feb! And many other times before that lol
The bowling would be less crowded if they would open the lanes earlier than 3:00.
If you're without a car, set up a Walmart delivery to the lobby. The cost of water alone will offset the lavish tip for the driver.

Pro tip: if you would like to be dropped off closer to the parks you can always walk across to Sapphire Falls and use the boat service!
We love the boat service at Sapphire Falls! But I would still just take the bus from Dockside/Surfside since it doesn’t really save you any steps or time to try to take the boat. Now if you’re staying at Aventura… definitely do this! 👍🏻
Access to the Sapphire from Dockside is perilous at best. You will be walking along highways on your journey. The bus is the way to go.
It's a 45 minute walk from Dockside to Sapphire.
Just returned from Dockside 9/10 and honestly I wasn't impressed. The lobby is nice BUT way too small. Everyone is cramped and crowded that its hard to navigate. The customer service wasn't the best either. I ended up sick a couple days and the cleaning crew made so much noise, especially slamming doors.
We’re sorry to hear you didn’t have the best experience at Dockside. We agree the walls are a bit thin at Endless Summer Resort- and it sure doesn’t help if you’re not feeling well 🙁. Dockside has over 2000 rooms so it does get crowded. This is one of the reasons we prefer to stay at Surfside. It’s much smaller and feels a little more laid back. I’ve stayed there. It was about two years ago. The beds SUCK!
Thanks for watching! We didn’t personally have a problem with the beds themselves but the lack of an actual comforter/blanket is disappointing… even for a value level resort.
