The Porsche 918 Spyder is a hybrid sports car produced by the German manufacturer Porsche from 2013 to 2015. It was the successor to the Porsche Carrera GT and was designed as a plug-in hybrid with a mid-engine layout. The car features a 4.6-liter V8 engine producing 608 horsepower, paired with two electric motors. The electric motors provide an additional 279 horsepower, bringing the total power output to 887 horsepower. The car can go from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 214 mph. The 918 Spyder was designed with lightweight materials such as carbon fiber and magnesium, making it one of the lightest supercars on the market. The car was a limited production model, with only 918 units produced, and was sold out shortly after its release.
