I take the time to read the comments on your videos. It doesn't surprise me at all that many heavy metal musicians learn "boring music" since it makes musical sense. Merci beaucoup for your simply amazing presentations.
Thank you, Gareth. In your final play of the completed piece, the left hand is inaudible! This rather spoils the effect. You have explained quite a bit about the Mozart piano sonata that I am currently learning. I will have to go and look at it critically, now 🙂. Thank you.
Glad that’s helpful. Strange about the inaudibility. I’ve just checked it and it seems okay but sometimes strange things occur on different equipment. Enjoy.
This is great timing as I'm currently attempting the first movement of a symphony in sonata form, really useful content and the rest of the course looks promising so far!
Hi Gareth, Do you use digital paper and pen in these presentations? If so, do you mind telling me what app you use? I’ve searched everywhere for an elegant solution for writing directly to paper without the playback and other features of most notational software.
Thanks you very much. Question: Is this related to the course on mmusic (sonata form course?). Maybe you can talk a bit about that, in the next video? I tend to modulate and develop too much in the first subject, and that messes things up for me, heh. Better keep it simple, as you have done perhaps. :)
