It is a beautiful song, and so real, he really hated being away from his family when touring the country. It's one of the reasons he didn't bother striving for international success. He has been well known here since a teenager in the 60's, but didn't even really reach super stardom here until the mid 80's, by which time he was married with kids and simply didn't want to be away for so long.
