An Korean-English Pianist who talks about Chinese and other Asian stuff randomly during the performance and a Russian Violinist plays a piece with an Italian title composed by an Austrian composer in Turkish style and the whole thing happened in the Netherlands...
These boys are musical geniuses, good actors as well as so good humorists; They make a game of their effort and years of hard disciplined work so people can get some fun by listening to classical music. I totally admire them.

This is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!! I know the piece by heart as I used to play the piano and this is SO refreshing!!!! these two are such good musicians they can allow themselves anything!!!!
Would be nice if they've produced some CD or whatnot with the full version of this along with other classics "modified" like this. I just love this stuff.
Mozart bu parçayı orijinal mehter marşından esinlenerek bestelemişti. Muhtemelen bu duyduğumuz şey bizim gerçek mehter marşına en çok benzeyen müziktir.
@@canerdemir4595 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano_Sonata_No._11_(Mozart) "Mozart himself titled the rondo "Alla turca".[3] It imitates the sound of Turkish Janissary bands, the music of which was much in vogue at that time"
First of all, can we take a moment to appreciate how much Joo must have to practice this routine? It probably started out with a lot of mistakes and him playing "Alla Turca" as originally written, instead of playing it as performed here. Also, this skit (is that the word I'm looking for here) highlights how simple variation on a theme can be -- change the key or change a single pitch and you've got something entirely new and interesting. It proves that while maybe not the most "refined" or "sophisticated", such an approach is valid and can be useful as a creative tool.
This is how my music teachers at music camps would jam in their time off. I enjoyed the offtimes FAAAAAAAAAAR more than the actual lessons, because they/we could really play, in every sense of the word!
+Iron- Costy couldnt find it but they seem to be cheating anyway. the first part is done with the phrygian dominant scale (flat 2 sharp 3) while respecting accidentals (like the periodic sharp 6 and 7), which is still impressive imo. i havent checked the rest but it sounds the same.
Sorry i dont really understand (i'm french ^^') but for me is just a Gminor with accident of F# and the seven C# (Gminor end Dminor are neighboure tone ... sorry for my hugly english x)
This is awesome. The fact that these guys are, for one thing, fantastic musicians... combined with their humor and composing skills... simply wonderful! I like this piece much better with the B's flatted. XD
A perfect example of excellent musicianship and showmanship combined! This give a lot of inspiration to learn all the scales exactly and to develop the ability of instantly recognising a note. Well done!
That surprises me, because I was at the show for my GTCC music appreciation class, and I certainly didnt see that any of the musicians were unhappy or anything.
There was a letter from Mozart in which he said that the audience had applauded... I think the recapitulation of one of his works (in other words, they started clapping *during* his piece). In the same letter he also said how brilliant he thought that was. He loved it.
AB-SO-LU-TE-LY BRILLIANT!!!! That's how real professional musicians can adapt to the needs of show-business and deliver high quality performances! Keep going guys, you're doing GREAT!

It's amazing how much a song can change when it's simply played a different way. Incredible, love these guys.
It's not a song, it's a piece. Rather a classical masterpiece.

I'm from Turkey, I really say that the 3rd one is really like Turkish tunes. Same song but not same kind. It's amazing, very very good.
Everytime I'm doing music homework and I need to listen to a piece on TH-cam..I always end up watching these two and procrastinating xD
