Hello, I want to start off by saying great video however, I do have a few questions if you don’t mind so I’m using virtual DJ and I have been for years but I seem to not be able to get my talk over correct when I am broadcasting live for the simple fact I do not use a USB microphone I use a wireless microphone and I have the wireless microphone box directly connected into my Yamaha mixing box and with that being said, it’s not detecting I have a microphone because of it not being a USB microphone since it’s running to my Yamaha MG 06X mixing console can somebody please help me with this
The feature only works in vdj if you are able to identify a mic in the audio settings.
New to VDJ. Awesome info. Thank you
Used it for a while. Use the panel button toggle in my controller as mic talkover button
Yeah man. My ddj-sz has it built in, but when I use other controllers, that's unfortunately not there.
Thanks for this, it all works aside from the echo from my mic when I’m talking over the track, how do I remove the echo…?
Sounds like somewhere you are sending your mic back out twice. If ya join my discord and send a screenshot of your audio settings I may be able to help further
i have issue with virtual dj 7 pro i hear my self only from 1 side i didnt find a way fix it.
The best one and thank so much !!!
I'm getting some practice under my belt lol. Thanks so much for the comment!
Incredibly helpful thank you. I have mapped this to my panel select button, because I never use that while DJing.
I have a question if you can help @LeFave , how do I mute the microphone playback through my headphones, I hate the sound of my own voice and it puts me off what I am doing as there is a few millisecond delay from me speaking to it coming back to my headphones. I would really like to remove this. I have VDJ 2023 an DDJ SX2 controller.
Thanks
Gotcha on discord ;)
Hello. Thank you for your help with this.
Tri state represent!
Hi mate, the problem i have is that i use virtual dj on my laptop and use my laptop mic, which was all fine and good...but when i switched off virtual dj all my settings had gone and now i forgot how to configure mic. Can you please tell me how to do it again? Thanks. Also my mic was lagging.
Go to settings, audio, then add your mic there.
Thanks Mate.@@djlefave
salute
Do you need a usb mic for this?
Any mic that can be read by vdj in the audio tab, so a USB mic, on board mic, mic that passes through your mixer (on select mixers, check manual for compatibility) or a USB audio interface.
@@djlefave That’s what I was wondering. I’m using a Gemini PMX 10 and I haven’t tried to use the mic thru VDJ .
@blacksquare just Google the mixer and vdj manual and it has a section that tells you if it can pass through vdj or if it has its own external soundcsrd.
Close but no cigar, yet! It's D.J. 2Slick not D.J. Slick (Channel Sponsors)
I almost had it right on this one! th-cam.com/video/T78-x3E_EXk/w-d-xo.html
