The owner was so cool and chill this whole experience. He had such a soft masculine vibes and his voice is so soothing. The guest always make these episodes!!
I bet like nobody but me and 3 other people care, but shoutout to the guy patiently teaching the basics of riding step by little step. That's definitely not how I was taught as a child and it sucked. Some don't teach at all and people end up hating horses for no reason, but bc lack of info given by the trainer/owner/etc.
Big props for the helmets, it's really common to see with many (not all) Americans that they don't like to use helmets while riding horses. I really don't understand that. All thou the ranch owner should have wore a helmet too. It doesn't matter how pro rider you are or how well trained the horse is, the horse is a pray animal that can get spooked and having a helmet on in that situation can be a matter of life and death.
As a horseback rider, it is my dream to see all of my favorite TH-camrs try riding. You are the first ones to make it reality. Here's hoping others follow suit 😂
I love Ryan walking almost directly behind a horse, step slightly to the side and then poke it in the butt to make it move. Excellent Horseboy skills 🤣
As a professional horse boy (literally, most of my jobs have been working in barns), this is amazing. They looked so happy with the horses. This is amazing
Shane's working on a new season! He was talking about it on some behind the scenes content recently, so it should be out soonish (probably after Ghost Files)
17:47 panning out to ryan stepping down off the mounting block 🤣🤣🤣 i loved the horseboy-o-meter 😂 honestly so much to enjoy in this episode i'm so so happy to see the boys back with this series, and it seems like they both had fun. one piece of advice: ryan, i loved your outfit, but as a fellow short person try to avoid a coat that length especially standing next to the giraffe that is shane 😅 love y'all very much! 🥰
I love his long coat! I'm 5'1", and I'll tell ya right now, it doesn't matter what we wear, we'll always look short 😭 I sent god a sternly worded email demanding that next time I'm reincarnated I should get to be over 6 foot as reparation 😂
Really glad to see this series back. The soda pop stop episode is one of my favourites to return to and I'm really looking forward to more of these weird, wonderful places!
"Big tongue!" There's this gorgeous animal in front of you, and Shane focuses on the size of its tongue. Classic. Also Fiona not moving a MUSCLE when Ryan was trying to get her to move is a perfect example of just how powerful these animals are. You aren't REALLY in control of the horse....its a two way relationship. If a horse doesn't want to go, or jump, or move a certain direction....they won't. I once went horseback riding and my horse just decided to go take a quick shortcut back along with another rider. Good thing the person in charge said "sometimes they'll just go off trail but don't worry they know the way home." 😅
Props to Annie, Mark, Matt, and the whole crew for the great shots of this place! I kept pausing the video to look at all the fun signs, and the bird picture-in-picture when Shane was distracted by its song was hilarious. What a great first episode for this new season!
I used to ride as a kid and the horse I worked with was trained in dressage and western styles. I rarely rode western so it was pretty neat to watch you guys learn that style together. I admit that turning is more challenging in western for me xD but you both did great!
Oh! That's where the Cowboy scene from Mulholland Dr. was filmed! I think they might even be learning to ride exactly where the scene was filmed. So cool!
Props to that camera person working with that focus on the crazy intro!! haha Glad to see WatcherBoys back at it exposing us to this big ol' Weird and or Wonderful World!
Wow! I admit, I sadly un-subbed after the goodbye video. I didn't realize an apology was issued & was surprised to see this new content pop up on my page. I assumed it was recycled old stuff, re-uploaded for new ad revenue or something. Upon realizing it was new, I went to the channel, saw the new content, the apology video & re-subbed ~ I'm so happy it wasn't as bad as it seemed. I also so happy I now get to binge all the episodes that have been uploaded since! Welcome back to my subscription list Watcher! I'm so happy!! ♥
This is one of my favorite series, along with Dish granted! Having fun little adventures trying out new things is the way life ought to be! Really makes me want to try horseback riding again. Last time was ages ago on a nature tour. All I remember is that the horses got spooked, and when the guide's horse reared up to spin around, mine mirrored it - I recall standing up to latch on to my suddenly vertical steed and then frantically trying to slow the horse when it hit the ground running (It probably just noticed the lead horse wasn't running and got embarrassed moreso than anything I did). Apparently I had somehow appeared competent, lmao. It was a nice (and alarming) experience.
"Have you ever run over a celebrity?"
"I try to, but they run fast."
I was not prepared for that; I was washing the dishes and straight CACKLED.
“You know Stacy’s mother?” Took me out 😂

close enough, welcome back brokeback mountain
this is top tier
MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY LMFAOOOO
LMAOO
Just fell to my knees

"We are in our horsegirl era" captions go hard for this video lmao🤣

Anyone else insanely happy this series is back?
Wow that's a lot of likes lmaoo. Thank you!!
It's fantastic. I've been waiting an eternity for the return of this show.

I was looking for a comment saying this! ❤️
i took lessons as a kid too and was so impressed with this guy. such a great teacher
Agreed! I am a horse trainer and I completely agree with you! ❤️
i know Ryan hates the mustache, but it's BEYOND perfect for this show 💜
I feel like Ryan has waited his whole life to say that Shrek line to an actual donkey 😂
he was BORN ready
may i know the timestamp?

he did seem to have it ready didn't he?lol
@@yona35213:06
Shane's narration is one of my favorite parts of this series, it's so nice whenever he's whimsical rather than cynical
ryans looks seem to have been carefully crafted for this very moment. man looks like a rdr npc
I'm not even a gamer but I've been on the internet so long I understood all of those acronyms lolll
Honestly😂 been playing rdo recently so this video came out at the perfect time lol

I believe you because of your profile picture.
Omg you cannot just drop The Professor at the end like that without giving us a “Puppet History” update 😭
I need a proof of life hostage style video if nothing else!
Shane's working on a new season! He was talking about it on some behind the scenes content recently, so it should be out soonish (probably after Ghost Files)
@@T.Florenz I can’t wait!
So stoked for more Puppet History! Love me some Professor time
I'm so glad this series back
love how every episode this season ryan carefully coordinated his outfit to the theme of the video

what a wonderful, patient teacher. 10/10 would take a lesson with him

i love the owners energy! he fits in so well with the boys

I’m so glad Weird Wonderful World is back!
shane just holding up a horse shoe at the end is so funny😭
Horseshoe! :D
I love the little picture-in-picture of the bird for no apparent reason. 🐦
Oh I thought it was the bird that was singing in the video? 😂
@@novalyn.shelby I think it was, but I just found the little cutaway to be especially funny. 😄

16:47 Ryan making himself taller than Shane using the stool to match his height relatable 🤣
I'm glad they brought this back, this is my favorite Watcher series
This could have been 2 hours long and I would have happily watched the whole thing
I really like this horse guy. he's so funny and so quick with Ryan and Shane 🐎
Eric seems like a really cool and wholesome guy
This has grown to be one of my favorite series I've seen. Thank you boys for bringing wonder into the world
As a person who rides horses regularly it’s always so cool to see how other people teach people new to the sport how to ride!
This man is perfect for this! He is so kind and silly! Such a weird and/or wonderful character!
As an actual equestrian I’m so glad they went and got an actual lesson, this is the best way to get introduced to riding!!
😅😅😂😂 is that a llama?? No, Ryan. It's a goat..😅😅😂😂
WE ARE SO BACK BABY! This is my favorite Watcher show just after Ghost Files. I love weird travel shows and quirky places to visit. Hot stuff!
So glad this is back, ngl this and Puppet History are the two things I’m here for 😅
i would’ve watched a full 40 mins of this lol
Omg, when Ryan jerked poor Fiona's head 15:49 my mouth was hurting 😭😭😭😭 poor baby! Gentle, boys, gentle. Steer with your legs
Yeah that was difficult to watch.
I imagine they were advised against most of the things seen in cowboy movies
I used to ride as a kid and the horse I worked with was trained in dressage and western styles. I rarely rode western so it was pretty neat to watch you guys learn that style together. I admit that turning is more challenging in western for me xD but you both did great!
"I always wanted to be 6'0"
I'm bitter about it"
As someone who just wanted to be, like, ONE inch taller, I felt that in my (too small) bones
As a horse girl, I'm very pleased with this episode 😌
I’m so glad this series is back! It’s one of my favorites.
weird wonderful world!!!! i have been so excited for it to return!! thanks watcher 🎉🌞

hilarious timing, I'm leaving tomorrow to go to a farm with horses to petsit for them for a couple days
as a former horsegirl, this was very fun to watch. good job horseboys!
I appreciate that 1) Eric was a great teacher 2) let them be silly boys, great episode can’t wait to watch more
