To me Rod WAS The Fortunes. Brilliant singer in brilliant times (60s/early 70s)

Saw them at the Flamingo in Ballymena ( Liam Neeson’s home town) Here it Comes Again had come out and I went to see them because of it. They were tremendous - staggering harmonies

One of my favourite '60's groups. Always thought Rod Allen had a grteat voice. If you havn't already, done this, find The Fortunes performing 'Eyes of Blue' on TH-cam. Make sure you find the version with Rod singing. This is a great song with a fabulous vocal performance.

I loved this group. Their music was great. I think Rod is being very polite here though in saying there is still really good stuff coming out. I think that is highly debatable I'm afraid. Rest in peace Rod Allen.
