    In the comics, Bucky was a young boy who was orphaned and was adopted by Steve's Army unit. He became Cap's partner after he accidentally discovered that Steve was Captain America (back then, Captain America's true identity was a secret). His character, lime Robin in Batman and Robin, existed as someone the young boys the comic was marketed to could identify with. It was a risk to change the canon for the movie, but making Steve and Bucky lifelong best friends who were always there for each other makes more sense, and it improves the characters and the the bond between them.

      Just another brilliant update. Like "Tony" in Afghanistan instead of the Vietnam theater of war. "Jane" a doctor instead of a "nurse." "HELLO I'M: Donald Blake" 🤣 "Pepper" CEO. Many more to come.

    In the original comics, the Super Soldier Serum made Steve physically perfect but didn't give him nearly superhuman strength, and the Red Skull was just a guy in a mask. In the 70s, to explain why Cap still wasn't getting old, the healing and regenerative effects of the serum were introduced, and then Cap got the super strength when a villain injected him with snake venom which, instead of killing him, interacted with the serum and increased his strength. Eventually, the canon was rewritten so that that the strength and other enhancements were effects of the serum.
    At the end of the 1980s, the Skull was old and sick and apparently died, but he saved himself by having Dr. Zola transfer his mind into a new body cloned from cells taken from Cap in one of their many clashes. He got the benefits of the serum this way, and he looked just like Steve. Later he created a toxin which (in a total rip off the Joker's Joker Toxin) made its victims resemble the Red Skull by shriveling the skin on their faces and making it turn red, and when he tried to use it on Cap, Cap defended himself so that the Skull got the toxin instead. The Super Soldier Serum prevented him from dying from the toxin, but his face was permanently disfigured to look like a red skull.
    The terrible 1990 "Captain America" movie was intended to be released for the 50th anniversary of the first Captain America comic (that had a picture of Cap punching Hitler on its cover which "Captain America: The First Avenger" pays homage to), but the movie was so terrible that it was released directly to video. The one good thing the movie did was that it introduced the idea that the Red Skull was the first to receive the not yet perfected serum resulting in super strength and a permanent skull face to reflect the evil inside of him. This idea of the Skull being like an opposite version of cap made so much sense that the Skull being the first super soldier and having a skull faced disfigurement was canonized in the comics with the excellent 1991 graphic novel mini-series "The Adventure of Captain America" which depicted Steve's selection, training, transformation and first mission.

    Here are some facts and important information about Captain America the first avenger. If you like the character Peggy Carter there is a Marvel one shot that features her in a short film. Also there is an agent Carter TV series with two seasons that may not be Canon to the MCU but that doesn't change that Agent Carter is a great series that you should check out. The gamma resistant program Bruce Banner was part of the secretly a government super soldier project which turned Bruce into the incredible Hulk. Tony Stark's Arc reactor is a synthetic version of the tesseract AKA The cosmic cube. Howard Stark use the tesseract to create the Arc reactor technology which was a incomplete technology due to the fact that he cannot synthesize the cosmic element needed for the Arc reactor until Tony discovered the design for the element and created the new arc reactor element for his heart.

    The next movie, The Avengers, is what every other movie so far has been building towards. Honestly, if you've been enjoying the MCU so far, The Avengers will blow your mind!

    I'm curious, your diction, are you Finnish by origin? Does not sound natural English, but sounds very much like Finnish-American English.

    This is a really weird edit. You cut out every interesting or memorable scene and reacted to the filler junk in between. Kind of boring.

      So you want every reaction to be the same clips the same feelings and all the same things. How boring! I like watching people react because each person see and thinks and feels different thus interprets art differently. That is the fun. Not having everything the same with the same clips.

      @@kilisandra6008 When did I say anything like that? I guess you'd enjoy someone reacting to the credits? Movies and shows have key and pivotal moments. I like to see all the different reactions to those moments. Not the boring crap in between.

    • @kilisandra6008
      @kilisandra6008 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @mckrackin5324 movies and shows are full of moments. You watch the TV or movies if you want to see them all you watch people react to things to see them react to.things not to see the same perfect snap shot moments being emoted in the exact way over and over that is as silly as watching someone play a game BLIND then telling them what to do what to expect and how to feel the whole time. Might as well go play it yourself. This is the same deal. If your looking to see the exact moments you want go watch the media itself.
