Good call on the mirrors. I like the factory ones leveled but hate when people put different mirrors on shit. Makes it less clean imo. Beautiful truck hope you don’t regret selling down the road.

Thanks for posting. I watched the entire series. I'm doing almost the same project to my 2006 LBZ. Starting with the exterior and then interior. I had already shortlisted the katzkin. I'm also planning to use Endura as I used that in a single stage on my Jeep. My question is - what Endura products did you use for primer, base and clear? I'm struggling to pick which clear to use because I'm not sure how it will finish. Did you colour sand and polish?

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Katzkin are definitely the way to go, can’t recommend them enough and fairly simple to install. For paint, on the body I have been using Endura delta sealer, reduce it 10%. And for clear coat I have been using automotive arts clear. For frame parts that I sand blasted I always use 3:1 primer. I did do alittle cutting and buffing but didn’t take much. Good luck with your project!
@@turbodan have you ever used either the EX 2C Clear, or Kappa Clear from Endura? I'm debating between the two. The 2C clear has the granite style hardness that I love about Endura, but the Kappa Clear is softer to promote "polishability". Given that I'm painting a truck, durability and hardness is my top priority. But I don't want it to look like an orange when I'm done.

If there was still slop in the steering it could be that linkage behind the steering wheel. Saw another TH-cam video diagnosing that. It's sold but yea.
I did check that, helped alittle but I think it was still in the gear box

@@foxgdsmck definitely would try a redhead or just get a good shop to rebuild yours. I changed the steering box out 4 times back yo back and they are sucked 🙃
