Ah, these two. Gwen made us start to love goths, but the Goths team in RR solidified that love. Still think Gwen's a better character, but nonetheless this pair's also great.
Still, I sometimes imagine Gwen encountering Crimson and Ennui. Maybe throw in Shawn from "Pahkitew Island" cowering behind Gwen.

Feel that could be an interesting scene as The Goths tend to come off more as what someone with a casual observance of Gothness would consider to be true Goths and some would say that Gwen's a bit more of a mainstream Goth by comparison.

I have a theory that the Daycare thing is to sucker in a new generation of kids who would be lost in a new season with the current continuity.
A soft introduction to the characters for the Teen Titans Go generation. Then when they have them hooked, they put out a new season of the proper show.
The problem with that theory is, they'd be unlikely to go back to the original continuity to avoid confusing the new Total Drama fans and we'll probably essentially get a reboot spun off of Daycare.

While that sounds like rather a fun idea, they'd probably end up having like 20 eliminations in the first episode or something to get the numbers down.
@@SensiofRabbitude I get your point but why not they make more episodes for like more eliminations it may be more teams I don't know it'll be fun
I would love less filler episodes. If larger numbers necessitated no rewards and every episode a guaranteed elimination, that'd be cool.
Maybe they're divided into multiple teams and only the team that finishes first gets spared from elimination?

The Goths could easily have been gimmicky stereotype early elimination fodder (see Ezekiel, Leonard and the Geniuses among others) but the writers obviously liked them and did well to make them viable characters. Kudos!
Kind of a shame they never got their revenge on the Ice Dancers though.
True! I usually dont like characters that are PURE stereotypes... but The Goths are an exception. Im glad they lasted for 20 episodes. A revenge on the Ice Dancers would be awesome if we ever get a season 2
@@E123OmegaShow You could say that in a sense that everyone got some level of revenge on them, when they didn't win but it's not quite the same.
Whether you like Total Drama Action or not, they took a chance and had Heather eliminated early, proving that it's not unheard of to eliminate the previous seasons big bad early on. In a Season 2 of the Race, I'd have the Goths focus on trying to eliminate the Ice Dancers, who are completely oblivious and are concentrating on the Race. Then WHAM the Ice Dancers are eliminated and they come up with a new big bad for Season 2 and the Goths have their revenge.
@@SensiofRabbitude Sounds pretty interesting, that would be great to see. However, I wouldnt say Heather was eliminated "early" in TDA. She stayed for 15 episodes wich is decent. But yeah, she had WAY less focus on her.
if there's a season 2 of RR then the ice dancers should be more afraid of Loki than the goths themselves

Goths look a lot better with their second makeup and they legit look like they dont care but all they want is too look terrifying

We all love them and honestly I think they can't be replaced with the characters from other seasons.A lot of ppl including me want to see the characters grown up and again doing crazy competitions.Please return them we all miss them❤

I loved this spin-off but it's a shame it'll mean we never get another World Tour like season in the main show.
I dug the survivor parody with a touch of the amazing race that World Tour was. Now with the spin-off being a full on amazing race parody and Total Drama itself being a survivor parody, we'll never get the likes of the kind of hybrid that was World Tour again.
They could've actually win this easily if they didn't get distracted every single time
