Looks great guys. Absolute bargain. I love the design and although you may never use the staircase i think it finishes off the house asthetically. Thanks for sharing the experience and i look forward to the cost information on your power set up. I wish you a long and happy life in your impressive farm.

1 The kitchen floor tiles are fantastic, and the pattern is unique. 2 The staircase is a life saver in many eventualities, always have two means of exiting a building fast when you need to 3 make a fence stile for the wall to add a bit of your British roots to the place 4 Get that poor little dog a day bed in the covered outside area for comfort when he is guarding the place all the time, great job mate

Hi Mate, same here for me and the villa I got built, I would of changed a whole load of things now, especially I would of put in the ceiling air conditioner throughout, I would not have 3 floors, I would of placed drainage system on the third floor in case of leakages of the water tanks etc, I would of had overhangs for the windows, apart from that, I cannot think of much else.. Our internal furniture's and all else inside cost 3 times what the villa cost to be built lol.. The local builders bless them, it was their 1st time building a western style villa here, they did a grand job though, and used laser pointers for all drainage for the outside groundwork so when it pours down, their is no settling of water anywhere. Give your place another year or so mate, you'll see the amount of greenery pop up everywhere, One thing I noticed for your driveway, you have no edging to be seen, I hope the edging was properly concreted up mate, as it looks like it will erode very quickly if not.

The house is beautiful and the drive up makes it look special. I assume an architect designed the house right? You knew the staircase was there. I like the staircase because it's part of the architectural look. Also if you air BNB the room upstairs they could come that way. The outside part of the property gives the feel of Thailand. Of course the price is cheap when I look from America. All in all it's a great place.

Not sure what your future plans are business wise but I'm sure there'd be viewers who would pay to come and stay.... Like an Air Bnb through your channel. You could promote the whole thing through your channel. When I saw that floating house/room your neighbour was building I thought maybe that might be better... A little guest house etc...
Anyway just an income idea for you guys down the line.

Cheers Andy, that’s such a lovely comment. We’ve pondered about the airbnb thing, possibly we will go down that route in the future. What makes it trickier / more costly to instigate is the lack of electricity. It would need to be fully off grid solar like the house. It’s expensive because of batteries etc 🙏

Once it's furnished and 'non-echoie', it will really feel like a proper home. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that it would cost, depending on where you lived, maybe at least 10 times more in the UK, probably even more in the South.

Health and safety! Front stairs fire escape! Easy, I paid £18,000 for my home, mind you that was 18yrs ago.

Congrats on your new home! It is truly beautiful. I have one concern that is the placement of the gas bottle inside the house. You might seriously consider moving it outside. I have seen way too many gas leak accidents that ended tragically.

    Beautiful!
If you want those pipes for the water tank to last many years, cover them from the sun light with foam tape, isolation sleeve for air conditioning or simply with a thin layer of dirt.
You can do it yourself, no need for specialized manpower.
    Enjoy your house!

Great tip thank you! We’re planning on topping up the soil banks as soon as the rain stops, so they’ll be buried 🙏🙏

You can’t get all that for £75k back in Blighty. Your videos are so informative. Soaking it all in for the future.

Done stairs in a tumbling, gravity way....stairs in thailand are a death trap. (Dok Bandai) 555. Lovely house though, all the best🎉

I don't need a mansion like that. I just need a small like 2 bedroom house, like a hut. Dear sir and madam, please advise me. How much approximately would a simple house with land cost in rural Thailand?

I love your kitchen tiles !!! It’s such a journey to see your house come together ! The pool is awesome & gives you plenty of exercise to clean it . I also love the colour choice of the exterior of your beautiful house. The final cost of the house was very useful and very interesting to know.. $100 k not a chance to get this whole package in Australia 🇦🇺 or UK Or Canada.
Keep the vlog coming !!! ❤😂
