  • Guided Open Presence Meditation Practice with David Oromith.
"In open presence, the fundamental instruction is to remain equally attentive to all visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and gustatory sensations, as well as to anything arising in the mind. All phenomena are equally objects of mindfulness. Rather than slipping into the vacuity of the substrate, the practice is simply to hover in the immediacy of the present, with all senses wide-open. As relaxation deepens and grasping is released, one’s clarity of attention becomes enhanced and refined. Whatever arises is seen nakedly, without the habitual tendency to reify or superimpose a concrete substantiality upon objective phenomena. Everything is grist for the mill." - B. Alan Wallace - Minding Closely: The Four Applications of Mindfulness
