Hey everyone hope you’re days going great!! Todays video was such a pleasure to make I hope you all do enjoy! Trying a premier for the first time, hope you enjoy it! Don’t you dare go hollow!! The discord for the channel: discord.gg/xv8t5bFSzd
One thing that people seem to overlook is that we had two dlc trailers. In the first, the narrator speaks of Miquella as someone to be feared, in the second, other narrator hails Miquella as practically a saint. I definitely think Miquella’s got some weird shit going on.
What if he stole the tactic from Queen Merica his mother. Just saying I'm getting the Vibes that maybe she did the witching in the first place and he found out about it. I think he may have used the same method to either undo what his mother did and restore the lands between and the shadow realm or his own thing.
11:00 I don’t think Miquella bewitches his followers, at least in the sense of him doing it maliciously. The Haligtree Soldier ashes say that, “When weakened, they explode to deliver a last-ditch attack. This was the bitter revelation discovered by the desperate soldiers who awaited the return of their lord to the rotted Haligtree.” For them to be desperate enough to sacrifice themselves, Miquella would’ve had to already be missing and taken by Mohg. I see it as them taking any desperate measure to ensure the Haligtree’s safety and guide Miquella’s return. It’s possible that the soldiers were completely enraptured by Miquella’s charms which drove their desperation. But I wouldn’t say that Miquella brainwashed his soldiers to commit suicide. I wouldn’t think he has anything to gain by convincing his soldiers to kill themselves.
I totally get where you’re coming from but they are bewitched! It’s not said in item descriptions, but the soldiers actually have the bewitching branch purple mist over there heads!
I am enjoying this theory, I just want to point out that it is possible and even seemingly implied in the game that the pests seem to come from the rot itself, and we find a rot lake inside the Haligtree, so they may not have had to travel there and were simply born there. The fact there are larval versions that come for you in the lake make me think they may not have been there very long as well.
Oooooo! Right, thank you for letting me know this makes a lot of sense! Still in regards to the theory I know Melania is asleep, but if she was aware of her surroundings it does make much sense for the pests to be there!
@@theemeraldgecko310 Thanks for taking the time to respond! I absolutely see where you are coming from with that, and I don't think it detracts from either your overall point, or even in that specific section, really, I just thought it was worth pointing out the other option there. I am definitely curious about what Miq's plans are regarding Malenia, since we have gotten a lot of hints about the other projects he has going on, but it does feel like there's something strange going on there. Great video!
@@friendalex7384 I assume Miquella put Malenia in stasis (the slumber is after all St Trina's power) after her fight with Radahn, before he put himself in the cocoon, because he couldn't find a satisfying cure and he needed time to find one. Mohg's intervention screwed that plan so Miquella is now looking for answers, a cure, godhood or whatever else in the land of shadow (that's his plan B)
Of course dude! I try to respond to every comment I can :) No no no, sorry if I came off rude in my first message, that wasn't the case, I actually really love you're theory! I honestly think this theory is so good, there's definitely some freaky shit going on here, fingers crossed the dlc clears stuff up!
The Order of Rot believes in a cycle of death and rebirth, and blooming. Similar to the ancestral followers. I could be wrong, but I got the impression that "cleanrot" was a more guided rot, like a compost bin or something lol.
One thing people have noticed is when Morgott dies, his omen "curse" is seemingly removed. He is just a thin corpse. So seeing that, the corpse in the cocoon could be Miquella's corpse after his curse is removed too?
Just the fact that the narrator mentions that theres "nothing more terrifying" when talking about peoples love for miquella freaked me out. Somethings super fishy. I also had a similar feeling about him being the final boss sort of how we heard so much about Artorias in Dark Souls and eventually, in his DLC, we fought him. Ah, Im excited lol
I don't think people are overlooking things that are suggesting Miquella is probably evil, we are not that stupid, it's because the seemingly good guy turns out to be evil is just so old at this point, and people wish Miquella turns out to be different. tbh, if Miquella turns out to be bad then I would just roll my eyes, I think it would be genuinely more exciting if Miquella turns out to be good, we are overdue for a character like this in all medias.
Not saying we are stupid, maybe that's what fromsoft are playing on, the fact we would straight away assume that would not be the case? I dont know, I really do like the idea of him being a good guy, I just dont see how they can make that work considering everything
If you think about it, and I know it’s because she’s controlling a doll, but Ranni had to go into a slumber and we don’t really know canonically how long she was asleep, but it reminds me of Melania, Rykard, and Mohg
Important correction, the Miquella soldiers using suicide bomber tactics only started doing so after his disappearance. They do so as a way to symbolically guide their lord back to the Haligtree. So it does not serve as a direct example of his manipulation, but an effect of it even in his absence.
@@theemeraldgecko310 It's in the Haligtree Soldier Ashes: "Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell. Use to summon the spirits of four Haligtree soldiers. Spirits of common soldiers who carry the sacred light. When weakened, they explode to deliver a last-ditch attack. This was the bitter revelation discovered by the desperate soldiers who awaited the return of their lord to the rotted Haligtree. May the flash of our deaths guide Miquella's return."
Still im super duper curious why they are there, Melania is described as abandoning them yet, there they are.. I know she was asleep but are we actually told how long or do we asume?
@@theemeraldgecko310 i think it says abandoned because malenia rejects the side of herself that is the goddes of rot thats why she doesnt recognize them as children. but the pest were born there and they simp for malenia even tho she rejects them.
Being "charming" and an intelligent prodigy are traits I always hear from sociopaths. I had a theory way before the DLC announcement that Miquella is trying to ascend as the next god after Marika by eliminating opposition: Ranni - An Empyrean, candidate to become the next God. What if Miquella knew Ranni plans to kill herself too along with Godwyn so he helped her with The Night of the Black Knives? I think Marika is aboard that plan but she did not know Ranni will betray her that is why in anger when Godwyn did not die a true death she destroyed the Elden Ring. Here, Miquella helped Ranni by "charming" or manipulating Marika or Maliketh to steal Destined Death. If Miquella knew Ranni's plan he might have helped her because that is one Empyrean out of the running. Malenia - Another Empyrean. What if Malenia's ascension includes being fully embraced by the God of Rot and Miquella is trying to sever this not to help Malenia but to eliminate another competition? Marika - The current God. Again same theory with Ranni. Miquella helping Ranni with TNotBK to weaken the Golden Order can also be seen as weakening competition.
@@theemeraldgecko310 Thanks. And thank you too for your theories they are always entertaining! I have the full theory, I know you might not read it all but let me post it still.
I think when Marika was having a hard time winning against Caria/Liurnia she got desperate and thought the solution was just to destroy her enemy from within. So she devised a plan, but this plan is kind of blasphemous as it involves fragmenting yourself like how I believe Malenia fragmented herself with Millicent as her "pride". Removing this pride because she was about to face Radahn, said to be one of the most powerful demigods, so she will not hesitate to use unprideful powers (such as unleashing the full power of Scarlet Rot) just to win. Marika needs someone to infiltrate the Carian royalty but this task cannot be given to anyone else. That's why she divided herself to birth Radagon, the side of herself that values the Golden Order the most. This is an insurance that whatever Radagon does he will never betray the Golden Order. But the plan backfired because now we have a Marika that has less love for the Golden Order and a Radagon, a sleeper agent, who loves it above anything else even more than his family with Rennala explaining how he left them easily. Marika now longing to end her wars of unifying everything under the rule of the Erdtree but this does not exactly mean under the Golden Order. I think it is easier to replace than the Erdtree. Now she might have no direct control on Radagon so she only knows he serves the Golden Order but she doesn't know if he still serves her. So she recalls Radagon back to forge herself whole again. But this could've been a trigger. Ranni now is under the control of the Two Fingers, her father left and her mother is turning insane. Her family shattered and her fate sealed to walk the same path as the woman who destroyed her life. So Ranni, along with her brothers Rykard and Radahn devised a plan to exact revenge to upend everything from the Fingers to the Erdtree and everything in between. Rykard helps Ranni to plan the Night of Black Knives and Radahn halted the stars to pause Ranni's fate of being a God until she finishes their revenge unbeknownst to him that Ranni's fate was actually finding the Fingerslaying Blade all along. But Malenia happened and Radahn's mind fades because of the Scarlet Rot. That's why I feel like the order of killing Radahn hurts Ranni but it is a kind of mercy and a necessary evil. Now, first meeting Ranni she uses sleep, an ability more associated with Miquella. Also she knows Torrent and the steed's former master. What if Miquella and Ranni coerced Marika to disband the Golden Order (Miquella having the power to influence others or charm them also would want to destabilize the Erdtree for his Haligtree)? Marika now convinced, tricks Maliketh and helps Ranni steal a fragment of Destined Death. Maybe she had to trick Maliketh instead of asking for it directly because Maliketh might suspect something that could be tied directly to Marika or maybe Maliketh will not approve of the plan. The Night of the Black Knives happen, and every piece is in place. Except, Ranni betrays Marika. Instead of granting Godwyn true death she tried to circumvent "death of soul and body" by killing Godwyn's soul, dealing a solid blow not only to the Golden Order but turning Marika's Golden Child and firstborn into something horrible. Then she offers her body to be released from the clutches of the Fingers. Two birds. This could explain why: - Marika went berserk and shattered the Elden Ring - Why Radagon was trying to mend it (he was loyal until the end) - Why Black Knife Assassins was in Caria's estate near the end of Ranni's questline. They were close to Marika and could have been sent by her to hunt Ranni down but when they arrived at the estate only Blaidd and Iji was there and Ranni's plan was already in full bloom. - Why Radahn halted the stars even though he is a fan of Godfrey So sorry for the long text and lack of good formatting. Thank you for reading.
I think the hailtree is actually made for Melania, somewhere she can bloom with out harming a majority of the land, I mean we don’t know how long she has been there, but to have a rot waterfall and a majority of the tree rotting is pretty sus.
Potentially this could have been an attempt at an eclipse with the haligtree inhabitants as sacrifices If the erd tree created the shadow/scadu on creation, perhaps the land of shadow has an eclipsed tree that houses Godwynn
i believe your take on Miquella about being creepy & manipulative will be proven true, While it does seem like he wants to help his siblings Malenia & Godwyn while making a new less predjudiced order, we also get examples of him being able to bewich people to love him & turning his followers into sewerslide bomers, My prediction for the dlc is that Miquella will be our ally in some way, only to later reveal a more sinister side
That's a really good idea! Kind of like patches in the ringed city? Not exactly the same as he does help you, but that duel nature seems really similar!
Interesting theory! I personally believe that he is much older than implied, and while he might not be a child physically he might still be extremely weak. I kind of see him as a Tyrion Lannister/Bran the Broken sort of character, someone who is manipulative more out of a need to survive his incredibly hostile surroundings rather than because they relish in the control. Regardless, he seems to treat his subjects better than 90% of demigods in the lands between. Not that that's a particularly high bar lol
I have something to add to your cocoon theory. When you become Ranni's consort you put the ring on her right ring finger. The ring on the cocoon hand is also the right ring finger. That means the body in the cocoon was married and had/has a consort, similar to Rani. So now, that raises the question, who is the consort of the cocooned empyrean? And why do they put wedding rings on right hand ring finger instead of left hand ring finger?
The position of the engagement and wedding rings is reversed in some cultures. In others, they stack them on the left-hand ring finger. So, the question is what culture did they use for inspiration.
@@theemeraldgecko310 I believe Zayf made a comment about this, saying it's possible Mohg meant it in a broader context. The hand doesn't have to be Miquella's.
@@theemeraldgecko310 I think that would be a sound point! I think the braided ring is actually what Miquella uses to control his soldiers and maybe Melania as well. You'll notice on the Halig Tree Knight helm and the Soldier helm it has Miquellas ring encircling the top of their helms. I feel like this braided ring shape must be a part of how Miquella compells affection as well.
Tbh, i still don't get the sense that miquella is evil. Being able to bewitch shouldnt make him inherently evil. If he truly is trying to fix mommy marikas/the greater wills screw ups, along with godwyns soulless body and malenias rot, there are probably a lot who dont care about the state of the lands between or dont want it to change, let alone miquellas personal endeavors.
When it comes to these games we all know it’s usually not so black & white! This is why I’m so curious about Miquella because I find both scenarios of him being a pure villain or pure hero unlikely! Many fans point out the similarities with Griffith as well but either way I’m very hyped to explore the lands of shadow to find out more about Miquella!
You can not obtain Miquella's needle until Malenia dies. The item description says, "crafted to ward away the meddling of outer gods." It's always been my personal theory that Miquella was going to sacrifice Malenia to make the needle to cure himself of his curse.
There’s just so much mystery and missing pieces to think he’s all good or not at least malevolent because even the followers of Miquella in the dlc don’t know what he’s doing they just trust that he’s their salvation, there’s no way he’s not up to something and we’re going to find the details and make a choice and that’s the choice Miyazaki was talking about following Miquella or choosing to stop what he’s doing to save the shadow realm from another marika
100% agree!! Who’s to say Marika wasn’t from a dynasty like the golden order and traveled to the lands between like Miquella does going to the land of shadows…
miquella is shown to have nothing but good intentions from my point of view but its clear the game is trying to warn us that all is not as it seems . still tho i. gonna be a little disappointed if he had a hand in trying to slay godwyn as i really find the hinted relationship between godwyn and the "rank malformed twins" to be endearing and i believe that miquellas mission in the shadow land is to restore godwyns soul
you know I started off hating this idea a lot. How could Miquella the kind be a bad guy??? Then I remembered that the whole reborn in a cocoon is a huge parallel to Griffith from Berserk, another good guy gone bad.
No, everytime someone says Griffith, I move up one spot in line for the sewer slide and its so close to SotE. Somehow, as great as Beserk is the over the top stereotypical Beserk fans time after time say the same meme worthy embarassing take, unironically and obvious how they've trashed it.
I'm pretty sure Miquilla divested himself of all things having to do with the golden order because it couldn't help him save Melania remove the rot and then started creating the Haligtree, unless I'm wrong.
If malenia created the rot kindred maybe she feels responsibility for them, or maybe they agro’d Finlay all the way to the haligtree lol. They only hang out in the graveyard and church. I also think it is interesting that there are rot kindred protecting Millicent at the plague church. maybe they defend malenia and her blood on behalf of the outer god of rot? Great video!
I was thinking that too! But it says that she abandoned them so I’m not sure! Honestly, I’ve been thinking about this, if Miquella is allied with the kindred of rot, then maybe Miquella Sent them to the plague church as guards for his kin?
I just reread the kindred of rot exaltation, from the first person perspective it is written in they refer to Malenia as the ‘Scarlet Goddess’ and to themselves as her ‘unwanted children’ so in my opinion they keep close to malenia or malenia adjacent people which is why they are at the haligtree. Not sure if Miquela would ally with them; he’s basically trying to destroy them by trying to stop the outer god of Rots meddling in order to cure his sister, so there aren’t really any reasons he would, and Malenia doesn’t likely want them around, being her ‘unwanted children. Anyway I’m rambling and may be wrong somewhere, love the vids for real, keep it up! :)
It feels worth saying the combustible Miquellan soldiers are said to be suffering from the effects of drinking ruptured crystal tears, the sort a cheeky Tarnished sneaks into their Wondrous Physick to deal damage to another player with just such an explosion. I forgot the source - maybe an Elden Tales video. Onlookers within the Haligtree, nevertheless convinced of their lord, might see this and create an explanation that resonates with them: "He blew himself up for Miquella. Ahh, yes, good idea - our lives for the lord." This still leaves room for his wickedness, for a leader to instill passions within their subjects which can with such ease be undone (dejection) or overrun (fervor) is a delicate balance. One Miquella is absent to strike. Big irresponsibility. You would not want this fool leading Jacobites.
Kudos. Miquella is definitely on the ASPD spectrum, exhibiting characteristics of both sociopath and psychopath in his various ages and forms. But his love for Malenia runs counter to that which could be a cause or indicator for other disorders (e.g., why does he seem to have several other personas - he seems very fractured - maybe more than his parent(s)). Pretty sure he'll be full-on psycho by end of the DLC, and we should see more of his disorder manifested through other characters such as St. Trina (I'm expecting some sort of dreamscape sleeping battle with St. Trina in which we gain some new spell/incantation involving sleep). I'll be disappointed if the DLC doesn't go in some really wild and unexpected directions with all this potential, but I'm sure FromSoftware has done an outstanding job pulling this together. And still I expect more questions than answers in the end 🙂... we will need a reason for continuation of this story, right? With so many franchises being tanked recently, we need something strong to hold onto if souls gaming is to survive.
Another GREAT video! You already know MY theory about Miquella, that he is NOT all "good and light", or whatever, he WILL be the most TERRIFYING Final Boss we have ever seen! It'll make Orphan of Kos, look like GODRICK in comparison! I STILL think what's left of Godwyn may turn into something, before the Final Battle starts! We won't get a new Ending, but, the DLC still COULD influence events in the Main Game, especially if you haven't beat it fully yet! This is about to go ALL over the place, but, here goes! I would LOVE to TEAM UP with a Demi-God for once, like if you choose certain actions in the DLC, after you beat but not KILL Messmer, the two of you could FIGHT whatever the f%#@ Miquella has become, (and probably the corpse of Godwyn warped into some kind of Vassal Beast! It's RIGHT there, with no soul to fight back against Miquella's control!) Okay, NEW really bat-s%#@ theory time! What if Miquella SPLIT Messmer from his physical body, put it in Moghwyn Palace, made Mohg THINK it was Miquella (which would be REALLY sad!), and Messmer's soul is trapped in the Land of Shadows! Miuqella's power is supposed to be SO extreme, he was the closest to becoming the new God, after Marika! Messmer's power has been told to be on the same LEVEL to Miquella, Malenia, and Ranni (who did her OWN thing!) I think we'll find out in the DLC, that Messmer was and still IS a THREAT to Miquella, and we know Miquella will do ANYTHING to achieve his TRUE Final Goal, becoming a Full God! Probably manipulating his own BELOVED TWIN SISTER, hell, he could have done the same to RADAHN as well, for all we know! I think MESSMER could be our ONLY chance to truly defeat Miquella, ans whatever Bloodborne Nightmare Beast he cooks up! It it said that the DLC was supposed to be TWO, but, got combined into ONE! Would it be BAT-S%#@, us and Messmer beat Phases 1 and 2 of Miquella, and we're like:' Something ISN'T right!' Messmer:' Keep your guard up!' Us:' I always do!' Then BOOM, FRENZIED FLAME MIQUELLA! Us:' Uh, Messmer, can your Flame combat THAT!' Messmer:' We MUST try!' 'Existance ITSELF CANNOT BE DESTROYED!' We're about to clash, THEN, the most BADASS version of the Godskin Theme starts to play, and look who strolls up, the RETURNED GLOAM EYED QUEEN, with a whole FRIGGIN' ARMY of Godskin Apostles, Nobles, and who-knows-what-else! She then turns to US and says:' Here, I brought along a few presents, Dear Tarnished!' AND, the presents are, the SPIRIT SUMMONS OF MOHG, MORGOTT, RADAHN, AND MALENIA! Then the Acended Frenzied God, Miquella:' HOW DARE YOU OPPOSE ME! I CONTROL ALL!' (causes the Eclipse to being back Godwyn, but it FAILS, and restores MESSMER instead, BODY and POWER, at the SAME TIME!) (The body at Mohgwyn Palace, Messmer's Soul, Blood and His Flame, COMBINED!) Frenzied God Miquella:' WHAT! HOW DID IT FAIL!' Gloam-Eyed Queen:' It did not!' 'You should look to your left!' FG Miquella does, and sees MESSMER, WHOLE again, and more powerful than EVER! Messmer:' I must thank you Miquella, for fully restoring me!' 'You will COWER beneath OUR COMBINED FLAMES!' Messmer, the Gloam-Eyed Queen, and Her Army both CHARGE straight at Miquella! US:' (thinking the ENTIRE TIME:' OH S%#@! OH S%#@!! THIS IS SO F-ING BADASS!) (starts "ding-dinging like CRAZY, and brings in maybe the most INSANE CALVERY of ALL TIME!) (Morgott, Mohg, Radahn, and Malenia!) The most BAT-S%#@ BATTLE comenses! Messmer COULD say:' Even if we fall today, EXTISTANCE WILL STILL STAND!" Several kinds of Flame, Meteors flying EVERYWHERE, and even a Scarlet Aeonia or two! Malenia:' You USED ME, used us ALL!' 'Even YOU must know what happens with Scarlet Blooming and BETRAYAL! Rot Nuke after Rot Nuke, then NOT to be outdone of course, a no longer INSANE Radahn, lands a quite ANGRY ASTEL on FF God Miquella, and the final touch, Messmer summons a Dragon, that makes Placidusax look like a JOKE! (IDK, that'll be badass as HELL!) A absolutely STOMPED FF God Miquella, then tries to use the last of his power to ERASE The Tarnished, then (if they got a certain Ending) a VERY IRATE RANNI THE WITCH arrives, through a Dark Moon Portal, and points her staff in his face:' How DARE YOU TRY TO KILL MY CONSORT!' (Mega Comet Azur to the face! HAHA!) Most there:' Uhhhh.....?' The Tarnished:' Long Story, hehe!' After it's all over, The Gloam-Eyed Queen:' Now, with my full return, those who fought here today, and elsewhere, will have the TRUE, Peaceful Death that they DESERVE, free from ANYONES control!' Mohg and Morgott get the peace that they NEVER had in life, so does Radahn! But, for Malenia, for all the pain, suffering, and betrayal she endured, something special must be done before she get's HER peace, the Gloam-Eyed Queen then brings to her side, the most POWERFUL Spirit Tuner the Lands Between, or anywhere else, has EVER seen, Roderika! A completely WRECKED Spirit Malenia, Roderika says:' You won't be in pain anymore, I can help you!' Malenia, in a shaky voice:' Truly?' Roderika:(with a smile) Yes! Malenia:' Thank......Thank You!' I'm now thinking on HOW to end this, possible have the Gloam-Eyed Queen STAY in the Land of Shadows to assist Messmer if he ever needs it to keep a defeated FF God Miquella from throwing a "temper tamptrum" perhaps? It wouldn't mess up the Lore of the Main Game either, since the Land of Shadows is separate! HOLY F%#@ MAN! I REALLY went down the rabbit hole this time, LOL! My possible theory turned into a FULL STORY on how the FInal Battle could go! I know you REALLY enjoy these BATTY theories/stories of mine, hope you like THIS one, may be one of my CRAZIEST to date! MAN! I CAN'T WAIT TILL JUNE 21! I JUST Pre-Ordered it too! FRICK, TWO WEEKS! SO EXCITED! I'm doing well, and I hope you are too! Thank You Emerald Gecko, for making a place for this!
Thanks so much!!! This was crazy, but I love crazy lmao, I really do love these theories of you’res there my favourite!!! Thanks so much for the lovely comment, I’m so hyped for the dlc too! It’s gonna be so damn good!!! 21st June here we come 🦎😋
Gold in Elden ring is representative of Order. Gold is all that divides and distinguishes. You cannot make the meats with multiple separate effects without golden rowa--to keep the other items from mixing together. Muriel says that blasphemy is not native to the world, that all things can be conjoined (through gold). Gold can allow all things to be, although separate from one another. Miquellas greatest creation is Unalloyed Gold. Gold, without any other metals or colors or properties mixed in. “Unalloyed Gold” is perfect order BECAUSE it removes the free will of others. It removes all distractions and motivations, replacing them with no other than to serve Miquella. That is why despite Miquella accepts all in the haligtree, All are United in Unalloyed Gold.
@@theemeraldgecko310 he’s seen by everyone as perfect basically but it’s just because of his power. He’s actually like mega ultra evil. He also ends up becoming more feminine looking to where he’s sorta androgynous. There’s also this whole thing with a tree made out of the corpse of a god but that gets into spoiler territory lol
I dont think he had to bewitch her.. she loves her brother but, notice a constant sadness about Milana.. as if shes reluctant to serve as his blade... She fought Radan to try to allow the stars to continue they're fates but there was no victor.. we come along and defeat Radan and the fates are in motion.. everyone thinks Miquella was abducted but I think Mohg was the one charmed by Miquella.. by his love, to perform a blood ritual that would have him reborn as this shadow lands tyrant of sorts... Forgive spelling errors
First of all, no need to apologise! Secondly I really love this take on Melania, that she is developing doubts in Miquella but refuses to take head to this realisation, instead stewing in sadness. Amazing theory!
I have a feeling the the radagonXmarika children may have all been birthed in the erd tree As parts of themselves divested Weird theory but hear me out The way miquellas parts look like runes in the dlc, as well as the other children including with renalla and godwyn having their runes drop, i feel with no ages specified and in elden ring it seems like older primordial life was stronger, perhaps miquella, malenia, melina, and mesmer were all born in the tree I have a feeling miquella whilst doing whatever his plan is, leaves these markings of his rune and they seem to be sprouting life surrounding them Perhaps they would grow into demigods with enough blood, and the demi gods are born with the runes already but not the full power until later Idk maybe theres lore breaking this but ive been toying with it
5:33 I think the body is messmer , a new thought on my part since the new trailer But I never did think it was him for most of the reasons you’ve stated
I also think it is possbile this is Messmer, especially because in the trailer, the narrator says "touch THE withered arm" - not HIS or THEIR withered arm, but A withered arm... so it's plausible this is not Miquella's arm.
I want to believe Miquella is overall benevolent and his seduction powers are an unwanted inherited trait from his mother, but the item description for the bewitching branch suggests he uses seduction to his advantage (it's somewhat implied to the detriment of others, at least it's how I read "learned very wall to compel such affection"). But then again everyone says the Haligtree is a refuge for the downtrodden and in the end Miquella actively isolated himself from the world as opposed to raising armies and conquering.
I actually really wanted him to be a good guy, it would have been such a cool thing to have this Demi god actually be benevolent, but the more I delve into him, the more that seems unlikely
Miquella is THE character I have the most theories and speculation on. He may very well be my favorite character in the story, but I also have a profound negative opinion of him because I believe he's behind EVERYTHING. I believe he caused The Shattering, and I believe he has manipulated our Tarnisheds entire journey. There are a few things I want to correct in this video though, and don't worry I'll explain in depth my proof and why I believe these thoughts about Miquella. Buckle up this comments gonna be a doozy. First I have to dispute Miquella is cursed with eternal youth this isn't a lie and we can even see his childlike essence and appearance in the Shadow of the Erdtree story trailer. Further proof cementing he is cursed with eternal youth is in Malenia's remembrance. The statues were made to reflect that. Of course his appearance isn't exactly as it is in satue form but neither is Marika's nor Radagons. Also I know it's been said to death but Miquella didn't turn his soldiers into suicide bombers on purpose. He armed them with the knowledge of such a spell they just hold such devout faith that they ignite their own deaths to bring him home. Yet this will NEVER happen. Secondly I want to propose a theory, the thought behind the cocoon is Miquella's body is in there and that he's failed to properly transform. He put himself in the cocoon from what we know to metamorph into a form free from his curse, and Mohg taking him ruined that hence the foul form we see hanging from the cocoon. What if, however Miquella never actually went through with this metamorphosis but made everyone else believe he did? In the DLC supposedly he's abandoned his body his fragments of flesh that we can follow as beacons. How could he abandon his flesh in such a manner if his flesh is in the cocoon in Mohgwyn? My theory is that body in the cocoon ISN'T Miquella's it's someone elses. As for who it is, the only person I believe it could be whom has such bodily proportions is Messmer. Which makes his character far more tragic if I'm right. The flaw to this theory of mine is that if Messmer is alive and well in the DLC then who is in that cocoon is a total mystery, or is it? In cut content Miquella/St Trina has a devout follower named Rhico, what if that character is cut content because THEY are the identity of who has been sacrificed into this cocoon? Though my theory about whose body is in the cocoon is hit or miss the rest of my thoughts are more concrete. Next I'd like to explain just how much of our adventure if manipulated by Miquella. Afterwards I'll explain why I believe he caused the Shattering War. We start our journey in the Chapel of Anticipation if you follow Varre's questline you'll know that you'll eventually have to attain a dead maidens blood. There are 2 dead maidens in the game 1 is Vykes in the Frenzied Church (I can never remember this churches name) the 2nd is in the Chapel of Anticipation where we begin. Our Tarnished isn't Maidenless our maiden was killed. I believe Varre murdered our Maiden at either the behest of Mohg or the manipulation of Miquella. Which btw screw Varre even more he killed our maiden then gaslit us by calling us maidenless. Anywho I strongly believe Miquella's behind it because if you know the Butterfly theory then you know that Miquella's is the Nascent butterfly. In the same area as the Chapel of Anticipation are 2 sets of Nascent Butterflies 1 of them you loot before re-challenging the Grafted Scion the other if you try to claim it the land breaks and you die. To me that's symbolism, you either follow the path Miquella wants for you or you die. Next piece of evidence is Melina not remembering what her purpose is while being given general direction by Torrents former master while also following Torrent to his next master whom Torrent himself chooses. There's a lot there, first of all how did Melina get Torrent? Miquella is riding an untamed Torrent in the promo art for the DLC so it's 100% confirmed that Torrents his steed and he was Torrents former master. Now Torrent choosing us, did he do that of his own will or did Miquella TELL Torrent who to choose. This transitions into a major theory I have, has it ever bothered anyone that Torrent is so well known by so many prominent characters in the story? How is that for just a random spirit? What if Torrent is Miquella's Shadow? Every Empyrian is given a shadow bound beast when chosen by the 2 fingers. We know Ranni has Blaidd and Marika has Maliketh, but we don't know Malenia nor Miquella's shadows info at all. So what if Miquella's shadow is Torrent? It'd only further cement his manipulation of us even more. So he's given us our steed, given us our maiden so we can level up, and even to some degree given us someone in Varre to have contempt with to eventually oppose that will take us to Mohgwyn. There's more though, he gave us our Spirit Summoning Bell as well. Ranni gives it to us saying it belonged to Torrents former master who we know IS MIQUELLA! Need more proof? Go to Malikeths boss room there you'll see a young feminine type figure with 3 wolves. People for the longest have thought that was Marika. Nah fam that's Miquella due to the youthfulness with the THREE WOLVES that are given to us. He's given us our spirit summons/ability to do so, our maiden for leveling up and continuing his own agenda to end the Erdtree, and even our steed. Even then there's more. Golden Seeds sure are placed at convenient points aren't they? In the desciption of the Crimson and Cerulean Seed Talismans you'll red "The Erdtree was once perfect and eternal, and thus was it believed that Erdtree seeds could not exist.". Well they do, but that's so odd that they exist and are conveniently placed about. The only characters that we know can grow Erdtree's or equivalents are Marika and Miquella. Also don't mention the Ancestral Worshippers yes they grow trees but those aren't Great Trees. Out of the 2 characters that can grow trees such as the Erdtree Marika had to sacrifice MANY people to make her Erdtree as we see in the Story Trailer. So by default Miquella had to of sown these seeds quite literally around the Lands Between. He's certainly capable of having this many seeds because he found and used one to forge his Haligtree. He's the ONLY character in the story that's known to have these seeds that don't naturally exist. Plus it just makes sense that he gave us additional healing because look at EVERY other Tarnished NPC they only have ONE flask to heal and NO FP flasks. That to me can't just be a coincidence. He's given us everything that makes us special save for our combat abilities that we ourselves hone, but otherwise he's entirely manipulated our skill sets. I even personally believe he gave us our ability to see Grace not Marika. I believe this for a few reasons. First being that many Tarnished summoned by Marika ask us: "Can you see it? The Guidance of Grace?" they say they can't see it or don't anymore. Examples being Rogier, Brother Corhyn, and Blackguard Bogart. We never lose the ability, the guidance of grace. In contrast to all the other Tarnished. The only exception being Godfrey whose grace leads him to us. Mentioning Godfrey leads to my final theory. How Miquella caused the Shattering. Everything I'd said thus far is just knowledge I've gleamed from the base game. This next piece of knowledge I have is one of the item descriptions from the DLC that Vaati told us about. So if you don't wanna know about it stop reading this comment here and have an awesome day or night. Alright if you're reading this last bit the item I'm referring to is "Marika's Blessing" it's a direct parallel to the Goddesses Blessing from Dark Souls, and it's description basically says that "Marika made this for Miquella's journey, and she only made one". That's huge because this means either A.) Marika knew about Miquella's journey and permit it to happen which in itself is a whole can of worms, or Miquella manipulated his own mother for his own purposes. I'm theorizing on the side that Miquella has manipulated Marika. My belief in this is if you focus on the story as a whole Marika was VERY active and exceedingly in control to the point I don't find it far fetched to presume she had a unique form of ego to her. Then around the time of the Night of Black Knives and onward she abruptly changed and rapidly went onto the decline causing the Shattering and being sealed in the Erdtree. That just feels so wrong for a character as important as Marika, it feels off as well. There's no natural character progression with such a sudden change. I don't think she cared enough for Godwyn for that to impact her, and for all the evil she's done to get this far I even more so doubt that she'd ever have genuine doubts in her own actions enough to reflect. No to me Marika's Blessing clues us in that Miquella manipulated her into Shattering the Elden Ring ruining her and getting her out of his way, then with Ranni slaying Godwyn whom I believe was specifically chosen to be killed. I think it all serves Miquella's ulterior motives. That's all my thoughts about Miquella though, and yes I do have a post board Charlie Day style in the back of my room as I find a way to blame shit on Miquella, but I just strongly feel he's behind a lot more than we know. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but if I'm not remember I'm calling that he's our final boss of the DLC and I feel our setup is he's gonna manipulate then betray us all for his mysterious ultimate goal. Take care my Fellow Tarnished, and of course don't you dare go Hollow.
I bet that Mesmer will be the equivalent to Morgot... not the final boss but a tough one. I actually wish Miquella would be the only Empirion we wouldnt need to fight but if you do need to fight him, at least let it be the DLC version of Malenia. And above all please let us have one last chat with our beloved maiden again... she said she would give me destined death, im waiting❤😂
Pain stuff like in grinding a true hard boss for days and days. Yep. I was truly sad when they overhyped Sekiro last boss. It took me like 2 days to kill Melania, but that last boss from Sekiro took me 2 hours.
@@ruimonteiro6070 I get you dude, I still really liked the gauntlet mode on sekiro though! And doing this no upgrades Kuro bell run is sadistic as shit, but it’s super fun!
@ruimonteiro6070 you know when you beat a boss and you get their spirit thingy and you can upgrade you’re health? It’s not using that and not increasing you’re damage level or you’re prosthetic level :)
I don't think it is Miquella in the cocoon, never have. Notice how in the trailer they say "touch THE withered arm..." The withered arm, not HIS or THEIR withered arm... this would suggest that the arm is not Miquella's arm. Also, Mogh is not kissing the hand, but kissing the ring. So then, whose arm is it? I have some thoughts about this, but curious to hear what some of y'all think. Also, notice how Miquella is the only Empyrian actively trying to become a god under all these different smokescreens..."I'm helping my sister"..."I'm helping my momma"... "I'm helping the less fortunate"..." blah blah blah"...yea, right. BTW, one trailer says he wields the power of love, and that it is frightening ... the other trailer says Miquella is the most saintestest of all saints LMFAO... One thing we can say for sure: Miquella is the one character who has consistently done everything in their power to straight up establish a new order, in multiple different ways. And I believe that his only successful attempt at establishing a new order was when he divested himself of all things golden, his flesh, his fate, etc... and became a tarnished of no renown, who would then go on to take on the greater will and defeat it. That's you and me bois... GG!
What if miquela is an omen? Hence why he has a similar model to morgott, and it seems omens can send projections so maybe the child form is a projection?
I think if Miquella could compel affection to the degree you insinuate his story would be much different I feel. Why leave the Golden Order when you could simply compel them to love you and use that to guide their opinion? Why hide his Haligtree away on the literal edge of the Forbidden Lands if he could simply compel the affection of the masses to convince them it’s a good replacement? I for sure won’t argue if he can or can’t do it. He for sure CAN compel affection but it’s got its limits, just as the Bewitching Branch does. He compels affection to “smaller” beings with less of a will. If he could simply compel affection at will I personally think he would have a MUCH greater following. Instead we see a small army created from individuals who all chose to make the dangerous journey there and serve Miquellas vision. There is just to much free choice amongst the people he protects to imply he’s compelling it all.
Because the Golden Order is useless for his true purpose which ( I speculate ) is to impose his own order outside of the Greater Will. In essence, he's not fighting the Golden Order because the true puppet master in the lands between is the Greater Will. When you're staging a coup, you go for the head.
Great video, nice to see a villain take on Miquella... all the other videos seem like Miquella's bewitching nature has affected Elden Ring content creators! Like Woah ... but I'm with you bro. If anyone needs any proof of that, then just listen again to the opening dialog of the first SotE trailer, and I quote "PEGI 16"... oh, wait... sorry, wrong opening dialog 🤣🤣 seriously though, it goes "Pure and radiant, he wields love to shrive clean the hearts of men. There is nothing more terrifying." When I first heard that I seriously got chills... because what I understand that to mean is to "shrive clean" is like a clean cut, as in without resistance or difficulty. Plus, in the path to the frenzy flame ending after you singe your flesh via the 3 fingers ... even then, through the use of Miquella's needle, you can forsake the outer god you pledged your life to so you can follow Miquella. This tells me there is no bond that can withstand the power of Miquella's influence. He has been described as "the most fearsome empyrean" and I have no doubts that he is. So, with all that said... this would be my "translation" of that same opening dialog. Pure and radiant, he uses love as a weapon to break any and all bonds of loyalty that you may have. So that you can serve his purposes without distraction and with complete focus on the purpose he would have of you. There is nothing more terrifying than to love being enslaved to him.
Thanks so much! Honestly I’m with you dude, I can’t see how anyone knowing Miquella’s lore could think he is a good guy! Same man, I got LITERAL CHILLS, was such a good line!!!!
Shrive means to hear someones confession. To "wield love to shrive clean the hearts of men" seems to mean that with love he compels others to confess their sins, all of them.
@@leperface ok, I get the meaning now. but now I'm not a fan because it's confusing. So I've unburdened my sins and purely absolved... cool power, I guess. Is he supposed to be Jesus now? LMAO
@@frankiefromky It could mean a lot of things. It could mean...he puts people to sleep, and finds out their secrets as st trina, idk. Or maybe it's less of a sense of confession, and more of a sense of admiration and comfort that brings others to reveal their secrets? Miquella is portrayed as always a child. When people see you as weak or small, if they don't see you as a threat and gain some comfort around you, they tend to show you their soft white underbelly. You learn their fears, and desires. You learn their every dream, and nightmare. EDIT: looking up more, it also has some connotation of a confession before execution
I feel like Miquella being the bad guy, is such an obvious twist that miyazaki is using how obvious it is to fool people into not believing it.😂 I personally started thinking he's a manipulative monster promising all these poor creatures a false salvation to use them all as fuel to grow his tree. Starting with the cacooned albanaurics. And they wouldn't even say no if they knew they'd die because he already bewitched them to love him that much now.
I hope it subverts expectations and he is not just a goody two shoes everyone seems to want or there is different paths. Considering Marika is full of shit, I think Miquella is too, just more tactful about it. They are both quite the schemers. it seems he divested himself long ago of his fate, that is what the Amber Starlight is according to Seluvis "it was the very fate of a demigod" unless he took Melania's away as St Trina somehow. 🤔
I really hope they do as well, considering everything I really can’t see them going down the goody two shoes route! I had no idea about that item I won’t lie, that’s huge!!!
Now I know all the characters in this game are bat shit crazy and weird in one way or another but I do find it hard to believe that Mohg is out here simping for his child like half brother because he’s just messed up like that. I feel maybe it’s adoration and love for miquella was the product of bewitching. I mean he does act like someone who is being mind controlled into loving and protecting miquellas cocoon. Perhaps he did go willingly so he could get to the land of shadows but only after bewitching His sister to go pick a fight with rahdan. I also don’t believe she would just leave her brother defenseless to go fight the strongest demigod at the time out of her own volition. She seems to care for him way too much and that seems reckless and sloppy of her, and how would mogh know she was gone? The whole thing just seems planned with people acting out of character.
Lol dude, nobody know for certain what the lore will be in the Shadow of the Erdtree... all you see is speculation, dont need to unsub anyone... if you see spoilers rn its because of the 3h earlyacess or the main game... and 3h early play is like 1% of all you going to see
100% get where you're coming from but imo, so much can be conveyed through gameplay lore wise. Saying that I don't think unsubing is the right call, if you stay away from elden ring content that is spoilers it should not recommend them (KEY WORD SHOULD)!

One thing that people seem to overlook is that we had two dlc trailers. In the first, the narrator speaks of Miquella as someone to be feared, in the second, other narrator hails Miquella as practically a saint.
I definitely think Miquella’s got some weird shit going on.
Oh definitely dude some freaky deaky stuff is going down
I think the second narrator is bewitched tbh. We're hearing from two different factions.
@dadevi I’m 100% in agreement, this was my first thought!
@@dadevi honestly that makes perfect sense! Wow
He does it for the lulz. Nothing is more frightening.
@@cwshepherd buckaroo got a little bordy wordy
I try to respond to every comment I can :)
No no no, sorry if I came off rude in my first message, that wasn't the case, I actually really love you're theory!
This is a really interesting point I hadn’t considered, I could definitely see this being the case with Miquella! Awesome find!
Freaked me out too! Not long now, so excited for the dlc!
You’ve got a point!!! Definitely think there might be something here!
Important correction, the Miquella soldiers using suicide bomber tactics only started doing so after his disappearance. They do so as a way to symbolically guide their lord back to the Haligtree. So it does not serve as a direct example of his manipulation, but an effect of it even in his absence.
I appreciate the theory, I really do, but I’m a bit confused where does it say this?
@@theemeraldgecko310 It's in the Haligtree Soldier Ashes:
"Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.
Use to summon the spirits of four Haligtree soldiers.

@tomas60952 could definitely see this being the case!!! I love this!
Being "charming" and an intelligent prodigy are traits I always hear from sociopaths.
I had a theory way before the DLC announcement that Miquella is trying to ascend as the next god after Marika by eliminating opposition:
Ranni - An Empyrean, candidate to become the next God.
I love this! This seems the most likely answer to the questions Miquella posses imo! Thanks so much for sharing this amazing theory!
Marika didn’t love Godwyn or any of her children. The only person she cares about is herself.
@juice2307 100%!
Two birds.
This could explain why:
- Marika went berserk and shattered the Elden Ring
- Why Radagon was trying to mend it (he was loyal until the end)
- Why Black Knife Assassins was in Caria's estate near the end of Ranni's questline. They were close to Marika and could have been sent by her to hunt Ranni down but when they arrived at the estate only Blaidd and Iji was there and Ranni's plan was already in full bloom.
- Why Radahn halted the stars even though he is a fan of Godfrey
So sorry for the long text and lack of good formatting. Thank you for reading.
I think the hailtree is actually made for Melania, somewhere she can bloom with out harming a majority of the land, I mean we don’t know how long she has been there, but to have a rot waterfall and a majority of the tree rotting is pretty sus.
You actually make a really good point! I like this!!!!
Potentially this could have been an attempt at an eclipse with the haligtree inhabitants as sacrifices
If the erd tree created the shadow/scadu on creation, perhaps the land of shadow has an eclipsed tree that houses Godwynn
i believe your take on Miquella about being creepy & manipulative will be proven true,
While it does seem like he wants to help his siblings Malenia & Godwyn while making a new less predjudiced order,
we also get examples of him being able to bewich people to love him & turning his followers into sewerslide bomers,
My prediction for the dlc is that Miquella will be our ally in some way, only to later reveal a more sinister side
That's a really good idea! Kind of like patches in the ringed city? Not exactly the same as he does help you, but that duel nature seems really similar!
He gives child vampire vibes
I’ve got one word for you… or maybe a few… have you watched that new vampire horror film?

@leperface 🧛♂️🧛♂️

When I seen Griffith transforming Into a “god” the way they drew it looked like he was a butterfly in a cocoon, which in turn reminded me of miquella
Mohg caresses the hand saying “dearest Miquella”… maybe mohg is his consort?
The position of the engagement and wedding rings is reversed in some cultures. In others, they stack them on the left-hand ring finger. So, the question is what culture did they use for inspiration.
@BenefitCounterbench that’s a great point! What’s you’re take on how the ring is placed? What culture do you think it’s from?

I’m getting subliminal purple mist messages 🤨
@@theemeraldgecko310 ;p
OH my... the way people talk about Miquella, he has to be the greatest power in all of Elden Ring!
Definitely dude, he’s gonna be such a good boss lmao
The Dexter reference is CRAZY😂
I’m not wrong though am I lmaooo? Dexter can’t get enough of his ritabix in season 3/4 😂
With Mogh it's not brotherly love, he wants to be Miquella's consort. I am getting a batshit crazy vibe here.
The item description says, "crafted to ward away the meddling of outer gods."
It's always been my personal theory that Miquella was going to sacrifice Malenia to make the needle to cure himself of his curse.
I just want miquella to be a moth, that's all
Miquella, moth man of mothataria
Lol, so be it
There’s just so much mystery and missing pieces to think he’s all good or not at least malevolent because even the followers of Miquella in the dlc don’t know what he’s doing they just trust that he’s their salvation, there’s no way he’s not up to something and we’re going to find the details and make a choice and that’s the choice Miyazaki was talking about following Miquella or choosing to stop what he’s doing to save the shadow realm from another marika
You know, I so need to read Beserk haven’t got round to reading it!
Great vid! I believe he would try to regain more power at the end, going full Femto on our asses
I thought the pests spawned from Rot. There's rot at the Haligetree.
That’s a great point, still it makes me wonder why Melania doesn’t react to them being there?
@@theemeraldgecko310 I think Miquella put her to sleep until we the Tarnished arrive
Could definitely see this being the case! We’ll have to wait till the dlc to be sure though!
Almost at 5k and another great video
How has it been going
Cheers thank you man!!! It’s been good dude, how’ve you been?
Thanks so much for the kind words!
FS rebranded him as "the kind" or "kindly" because they realized "the unalloyed" makes absolutely no sense
21st June here we come 🦎😋
No need to thank me!!! I’m doing well thanks, so glad you’re doing fine!!
If you know anything about berserk, miquella represents Griffith a lot… like a lot…
I’ve heard this ALOT, but I haven’t got around to reading Beserk, keep forgetting. If you don’t mind me asking, what is similar?
@@theemeraldgecko310 he’s seen by everyone as perfect basically but it’s just because of his power. He’s actually like mega ultra evil. He also ends up becoming more feminine looking to where he’s sorta androgynous. There’s also this whole thing with a tree made out of the corpse of a god but that gets into spoiler territory lol
We don’t know that Miquella uses unalloyed gold to manipulate people. I’ve been under the impression that hyper charisma is part of his Empyrian mojo
This aged well I think so far
There are pests guarding Millicent also...
I have a feeling the the radagonXmarika children may have all been birthed in the erd tree
As parts of themselves divested
Weird theory but hear me out
The way miquellas parts look like runes in the dlc, as well as the other children including with renalla and godwyn having their runes drop, i feel with no ages specified and in elden ring it seems like older primordial life was stronger, perhaps miquella, malenia, melina, and mesmer were all born in the tree
I have a feeling miquella whilst doing whatever his plan is, leaves these markings of his rune and they seem to be sprouting life surrounding them
Perhaps they would grow into demigods with enough blood, and the demi gods are born with the runes already but not the full power until later
Idk maybe theres lore breaking this but ive been toying with it
Hell, maybe the tree is somehow a conscious being and IS the the father, Marika and radgaon are one after all… awesome theories dude, I love them!
5:33 I think the body is messmer , a new thought on my part since the new trailer
But I never did think it was him for most of the reasons you’ve stated
Totally get where you’re coming from! Tbh I’ve been toying with the same idea!
Damn bro you’re into that pain stuff?
Pain stuff like in grinding a true hard boss for days and days. Yep. I was truly sad when they overhyped Sekiro last boss. It took me like 2 days to kill Melania, but that last boss from Sekiro took me 2 hours.
@@ruimonteiro6070 I get you dude, I still really liked the gauntlet mode on sekiro though! And doing this no upgrades Kuro bell run is sadistic as shit, but it’s super fun!
@@theemeraldgecko310 upgrades in sekiro? what is that? ahahah
@ruimonteiro6070 you know when you beat a boss and you get their spirit thingy and you can upgrade you’re health? It’s not using that and not increasing you’re damage level or you’re prosthetic level :)
I swear I saw a video where someone pulled the character model from the caccoon and it looked like an Onyx Lord
I’ve seen this video and dude, I think you might be onto something
GG!
I believe our tarnished is Miquella
I’d shit myself if this has happened I won’t lie
They have gone down to pound town?!
Yep🤫🦎🗣️
What if miquela is an omen? Hence why he has a similar model to morgott, and it seems omens can send projections so maybe the child form is a projection?
What if her and miquella had kids and the pests are the kids
Your anti-miquella propaganda is slander! Miquella is KIND and GOOD, I will worship them till the end!
I smell some purple mist fr
5:16 the ring was placed by Mohg…
He got the last boss part partially right
Great video, nice to see a villain take on Miquella... all the other videos seem like Miquella's bewitching nature has affected Elden Ring content creators!
@@leperface it's all good bro, it just sounded more bad ass to cut out your heart with a weapon made of love.
Pests are born from rot
Pests mother is the goddes of rot, not Malenia.
It says that they were born of the lakes of rot which were made by Melania, plus as we see in her boss fight she is the goddess of rot :)
at this point i fully believe Miquella wants Malenia dead and was probably holding him back from someone
This would be such a cool oh shit moment!
What leggings are these at 3:46?
Also what is that golden curved greatsword? Looks cool never seen
The legs are Malenia’s! The curved greatsword is the onyx lords greatsword!! I haven’t used it much either, it’s actually awesome!
@theemeraldgecko310 the red cape is part of that? Or is it the chest piece?
Oh god I’m such an idiot I thought this was a comment on my newest one lmaooo, I’ll go and have a look and let you know!
@alphasierrabravo5905 the greatsword is the onyx greatsword and the legs are the clean rot knights leggings :)
And why does miquella have four arms
Like the pests
I feel like Miquella being the bad guy,
is such an obvious twist that miyazaki is using how obvious it is to fool people into not believing it.😂
I personally started thinking he's a manipulative monster promising all these poor creatures a false salvation to use them all as fuel to grow his tree. Starting with the cacooned albanaurics. And they wouldn't even say no if they knew they'd die because he already bewitched them to love him that much now.
It seems so obvious that people don’t think it’s gonna happen due to that, sometimes the first answer is the right answer, hiding in plain sight..
This feels like a reskin of the "Professor X is the real villain" argument.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing lol
@@theemeraldgecko310 Guess we'll find out when the DLC drops.
@@CJusticeHappen21 yes sirrrr
Lol, a lazy analogous comment critiquing the video as a lazy analogous content? If so, can we hear your Miquella analysis Cj

The pests were born there 😑
Miquella=Messmer??
🤫🤫🤫🤫🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🦎
not “deep Dive into him”. 😂
🤫
I think that Messmer is the son of the Fell God of the giants and Marika, thus the seduction-betray thing.
Ooooo I actually really like this, I’m just wondering though, why do you think this?
You are wrong he's Elden Ring version of Jesus, LET ME BELIEVEEEEEEE
Well if we’re getting biblical he’s a false prophet 🤫😂
@@theemeraldgecko310 well, Buda or some other kind figure 😭
I've unsubcribed from all spoiler channels
I’m just staying away from Elden ring TH-cam full stop lmao
Lol dude, nobody know for certain what the lore will be in the Shadow of the Erdtree... all you see is speculation, dont need to unsub anyone... if you see spoilers rn its because of the 3h earlyacess or the main game... and 3h early play is like 1% of all you going to see
100% get where you're coming from but imo, so much can be conveyed through gameplay lore wise. Saying that I don't think unsubing is the right call, if you stay away from elden ring content that is spoilers it should not recommend them (KEY WORD SHOULD)!
😂😂 like you clowns actually understand elden turd story
Just don't watch them💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
100% based as always
Cheers man thank you!!!
wtf is that accent man...
British 😂
I’m proud to say I’ve never trusted miquella.
Some people talk about normal stuff when they say about green flags, but this is the biggest green flag of them all
Don't the pests grow from rot?
Yeah! But I think think it’s odd they are there, especially considering Malenia’s proximity
