    Vaughn is great
I think both Cleetus & TPain would not hesitate to do this podcast, both would be all time episodes.

Agreed. I would absolutely love to see both of them on. I'd also love to see Matt and Zack participate in a race at the Freedom Factory.

KSR is Kevin Smith. He isn't a "pro" driver, but he is a very accomplished amateur road racer and is fast in anything he gets in.

Remote controlled skid steer is to demolish roofing on a building next to a leading edge (without a person in it). It is an extremely useful tool for the demolition industry.

Matt said he’s never heard of Cleetus when Zack brought him up a few years ago. Don’t think this liberal audience would like Cleetus very much anyways.

Vaughn seems like a great guy when he was on Cleetus' channel but listening to him talk about his employees cemented it. Great interview and great guy!

Vaughns off hand comment about the management hitting targets and everyone has a voice. That lays the groundwork for a good team, growth of each person. Easy way to get bad vibes if you have either someone who is "passionate" but in a subordinate role who wants to fight their boss to impress you. People bringing in their own issues to work and then seeing their role as being higher up the pyramid and new or other people being below them. See that alot with engineering people or technical people. But also people who micro manage and you ask me or I will watch you remotely means you will always have a turnover as you don't trust them. My aim is to teach everyone how to do my job so when I am not there it's not one person who knows how to do X but all of my team. It also means when there is a bottle neck, sick leave or growth we have depth. It also takes the heat out of people who see being a boss as being better than the person doing the thing that makes you money and a big issue with self start companies that grow over say 12 people as the one person can't be the man on the mountain for every decision let alone multi area locations. They give the wrong people responsibility and the team members leave or you have a great vibe but bad results.

They need to wear headphones. A lot of talking over each other that could be prevented and greatly add to the production value of an otherwise great podcast.

As a Norwegian (and i actually talked to Vaughn's crew that weekend he drove the countach at gatebil, talked tire life vs his fd car) i will say that Rudskogen is a not a place that gives you a great sensation of speed if you are not driving something that REALLY moves.
Driving my stripped out e46 m3 around there never really felt fast unless you pushed racing lines and corners etc.

Matt i think you missunderstood what Porsche does with the Taycan. Thy absolutley have regen braking. Its just that they only apply regen with the Brake pedal. On that car the Brake Pedal does not correspond to the applied brake pressure. If you press the Pedal in that car you tell the computer how much acceleration (negative acceleration) you want to have. It then uses the motors to regen first and once it runs out of regen power it starts applying the actual brakes. No one Pedal driving though. I personally think thats dangerous anyways, because you unlearn where the slow pedal is and releasing the accelerator does not result in a full ABS stop.

With Autos in offroad, as he was saying its about load and especially shock. When you have tires off the ground spinning under power and then suddenly they come slamming down on rocks and have all the traction it puts a tremendous shock on the drivetrain. Axle shafts, input/outputs shafts, driveline and u joints etc. With an auto you essentially have a fluid coupling that can help absorb some of that.
