Much success Captain. I don't envy your job. But you MUST fix your organisation - round holes, square pegs. Fix that and your job will be easier.

You cannot teach an old dog new tricks. He wants to change the staff to take on new initiatives and not put all eggs in one basket. But the fact is, it was MAS Mgmnt that said catering is not our business, MRO is not our business, ground handling is not our business, selling products - Golden boutique is not our business, land tour arrangements not our business, transfers to/fro airport not our business. “Our job is ONLY to fly a passenger from point A to B.” Hangars have been rotting unused. Flight simulators have been decommissioned.
Today after letting go of all this now suddenly it all becomes core business activity. Even looking after pets while owners go on holiday. And despite such diversification there’s no reduction in staff - so are pilots and cabin crew going to sell satay or look after pets?
Also when we have a management team that does not reflect the Msian population and also has members who do not know the meaning of customer service, there will be no change. Only more losses and more people’s money used to prop up this ailing creature on its deathbed.

Personally, I think the serving of alcohol on board made GOD ANGRY and success can be achieved only by following the GOD'S WAY.

Nonsense, compared to other competitive airlines globally, MAS is already strict with their alcohol with no alcohol serve in less than 3 hours flight. Airline such as Qatar Airway serves alcohol unless the limitation during Ramadan. MAS is not a low cost airline like AirAsia, MAS often focuses on long to medium haul international flights catering more foreign customers from Europe and Oceania.

Tony Fernandes is the worst. Terminating Malaysian pilots but keeping Indonesian pilots in Airasia. He is responsible for the death of A Sanjiv Daevin.

There are no privileges for them to be pretenders. This is real talking here. Only people who are working with them know the sweats. For people like you who only know to condemn people with your ignorance, will never entice or pursuade them to go to your level.

Enjoy profit driven business with borders expected to remain closed until 2022 q3. If if we are to follow the key aspect of maintaining cash flow, It means all airlines in Malaysia have to dispose 90% of its aircraft and closedown 80% of the current routes. The current converted cargo flights is barely breaking even.
With that in mind what is your gameplan to reacquire the planes you just dispose to reestablish connecting malaysia to the outside world in 2023? Employees, tech crew and leased planes dont magically appear in the tarmac even with 6 months advance planning it takes up to a 1.5year to gain back everything.
If we are to play survival of the fittest during the pandemic Its not going to be good for consumers and trade goods as well.
