@@LaurenBateman Hey Lauren I think you might have forgotten one chord ? I think you should include an A major chord in this song aswell, cause when Brenda Lee sings the words "Voices singing lets be jolly Deck the halls with boughs of holly" it should go from E minor to A major to D major/D7 for that part of the chord progression :) other than that spot on :) So hope this helps you all out ! :)
hey guys if you want to do a bit more of a fancy strumming pattern for this song (for those of you who are actually up to it and want a bit of a challenge) you could try doing a very quick "down down up down up up down up down" strumming pattern ! the first 4 strums (down down up down) are played very fast, then the other strums (the up up down up down) strums are played much more slowly ! :) Hope this helps ! :) (but if this is too hard for you then don't worry bout it just stick to what Lauren gives you which is ofcourse much easier ! :)
Different people learn differently. Personally, I like Lauren’s style. I’ve watched so many videos where the instructor just shows you the chords and then the teacher just plays the song and thinks playing a section slower is teaching a strumming pattern.
