I only have riggers and monos so I know nothing about cats so you can take this advice or laugh at it. I would try either raising or lowering the strut vertically, I have found making the prop more surfacing or less can change that hopping.
@@jamesatkinson7517 you are spot on, a deeper strut will push the nose down. This boat has fixed stingers so they’re not easily adjustable as far as depth goes but you are correct 😁👍🏼
Great job: I also live in southern California, I run my boat on a private ski lake in the summer, I was wondering if there’s public place people run boats that you might know of. I sunk my UL and and did not retrieve it for one week. Had Gnss in ziplock did not keep water out. The boat split all the seems up front. I am in the process of reinforcing it. Moral of the story those boats are not meant to go fast in stock form😀
The spot that I’m at is also a private lake. It’s a bummer that the turtles are starting to take it over now that Summer is coming. Good call on the UL a good reminder to me that I need to add more flotation to mine. They definitely need to be beefed up!

PS on my gps i turned it off from the app and then stuffed it with corrosion x 1st then blew it out with the air compressor Then I hit the reset button and turned it back on with the app and it came back on Hope this helps you 🤙🛥️
I noticed your shooting the cooling block when you check the esc temp, if you shoot around the block and the caps you may get a better more accurate temperature. BG4L

My Temp gauge does the same thing sometimes it works fine other times it just does what it does? lol
I may have been hitting the cooling passages on the blocks. Will try temping around them next time
Have you guys tried fresh batteries? Or taking them out and putting them back in Sometimes thats the issue
