    How much does this trailer weigh empty? Spyder can only tow 400 lbs. Trying to minimize weight, but I can’t find the specs on this lugg and roll trailer.
    Love the video and great ending.

      The empty weight of the 24 cubic version is 160 LBS. The load capacity is 200 LBS. Thanks for you interest in the channel. BTW I never towed her in the trailer she prefers the passenger seat on the Spyder for some reason... 🤣

    Hello, love the trailer as I have a si,liar Spyder. As they do not freight to Australia, are there any stores that sell these or just Pod-ium in Quebec? Cheers Jeff

      Unfortunately Poduim does not sell the trailers through any retail outlets. Here in Canada they used sell through Costco (one of our big box stores) but it did not work out for them. Good luck on your search and thank for watching the channel.

    Were you able to get your Can-Am dealer to install the four pin wiring adapter my Can-Am dealer won’t do it for fear of voiding warranty 😢

      Podium gave me a duty rigged adapter when I bought the trailer. They just cut an another flat 4 pin in half and taped it together. I have since purchased a proper adapter from Spyder Extras. Here is the link. spyderextras.com/shop/details/104/SPYDER-EXTRAS-F3-RT-TRAILER-WIRE-ADAPTER-SF3RT-TWA. Thanks for your comment and for your interest in the channel. 👍🇨🇦

    Does it sleep two? :) Inside the trailer is a nice touch adding the hold down loops. Thanks for the review

      Very good Alex... LOL. Podium does make tent type trailers.

    does that trailer have to be licensed?

    • @BikeBoatandTravel
      @BikeBoatandTravel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where I live (Ontario, Canada) the trailer has to be licensed. The plate is not specific to motorcycles, you could also tow it behind a car. Thanks for your interest in our channel.

    Do you just cover and store your can am during the winter, or put it on a trickle charge somehow? I’m in Ottawa..and new to the Spyder.

      Thanks for you interest in our channel. I did a full video on what I do to the Spyder before it goes away for the winter. Here is the link th-cam.com/video/8rGWXgV3rZE/w-d-xo.html. I hope it helps you out, if you have any questions I would be happy to help. We just got back from a trip where we stayed over a night in Gatineau... The Ottawa valley area is a favourite of ours. We live near Fenelon Falls. 🇨🇦

    Does the trailer have a braking system?

    • @BikeBoatandTravel
      @BikeBoatandTravel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The trailer does not have its own braking system. I have not notice this to be a problem behind the Spyder.

    how is this compared to the can am trailer?

    • @BikeBoatandTravel
      @BikeBoatandTravel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be honest my knowledge of the Can AmFreedom Trailer is limited to what is available on line. The Lugg and Roll that I got is 24 cubic feet, the Freedom is 20. For me it was cost. The Lugg all in with tax was $3300 CDN$ which included $400 for shipping. I got a quote on the Freedom and is was over $5,000 all in. The Freedom is very sleek looking no doubt, but like all things BRP, very expensive. Thanks for your interest in my channel.

      Good news. I have been away on few trips this summer and the half cover helps keep the dew off the seat etc.

    I really like your Lugg and Roll Trailer.
    I live in Scarborough, and need something like it for my wife's wheelchair/mobility scooter.
    Where did you buy the Trailer?
    Thanks,
    Robert

    I’m sure that this was already asked but how long did it take for assembly? Without the filming part of course.
