- I was invited to a Theorycrafting event try out all the new cards from The Great Dark Beyond! My first deck was a super greedy Control Death Knight featuring The Ceaseless Expanse, The 8 Hands From Beyond, and Kil'jaeden!

Power Level Estimate: This was played in a Theorycrafting event, so it's far too early to say how good a deck really is. That said The 8 Hands From Beyond felt very slow, and was almost impossible to play effectively.

The way this deck works is actually pretty cool when you consider the greater Warcraft lore.
For those that do not know, Kil’jaedan was a servant of Sargeras (yes, that warlock legendary released last year) and was tasked with leading the burning legion across the universe, finding life-filled planets to destroy. Azeroth was one of these planets.
The first attempt to destroy Azeroth was led by Archimonde (the new warlock legendary) and ultimately failed when he was defeated by a bunch of wisps.
To avoid underestimating Azeroth like Archimonde, Kil’Jaeden decided to weaken the Alliance and the Horde through indirect means before the main assault. One of the ways he did this was by taking the soul of an orc shaman and granting him the power to raise the dead. This army would become known as the Scourge, constantly attacking the living groups then using their dead to be able to attack them again. Then the weakened living would be vulnerable to the assault of the burning legion.
This deck is the application of that plan actually working out.
TLDR: weakening the opponent with an army of undead soldiers before ultimately overwhelming them with the endless demons was one of Kil’jaedan’s plans to destroy Azeroth.
Why didn’t the Alliance just contact the Titants to drop Ysera on the Lich King early, seems like it would have done the trick.
Your timeline is off. It was thanks to the scourge, Arthas and Kelthuzad that Archimonde was able to enter Azeroth during the Third War to begin with. It wasn't created after his defeat but before that, for the explicit purpose of summoning Archimonde to Azeroth.

At the end of the first game, a little before 13:50, there is the comment from the other person, and during the game Regis discovers a card that he did not remember from the reveals. 4 mana, chose alliance or horde, discover 2 legendary creatures from the chosen faction, discount by 2, or something around this. I also don't remember it from the reveals, but I haven't see every card.

Wowhobbs is tons of fun, if you like silly decks. Martian buu is really chill and knowledgeable. Dane hearthstone is fun comboing. Ahpauloh is great upcoming one - he doesn’t do it very often, but he’s really chill too.

To me, the problem is not only the constant whining, it is also the fact that they know very little of the game and call anything broken.

A tangible example was Ecore. I liked him but couldn't handle the complaining.
This broken game even got poor old him to quit!
How was it broken? Well, Concierge was OP during THEORYCRAFTING:
- Ecore hadn't played the game in weeks.
- He came back for a theorycraft event.
- Made a sh#tty deck (which is normal).
- Got trampled and called a card OP.
- Rage quit because of that.
Zeddy even made this video of "LOOK HOW BROKEN THE GAME IS! IT EVEN MADE ECORE RETIRE!!!"
Well, turns out Concierge wasn't even that strong. Once the expansion came out, it was annoying, but promptly nerfed. It can still reduce cards to zero but has vanished from ladder.
Zeddy even felt embarrassed after the expansion released..

I saw a screenshot of it, it's an uncraftable epic neutral card and just guessing from the background it's shown over it looks like a it's from the start of expansion event things.

From what I can dig up, it was patched in maybe too early , and was gonna either be revealed on the 13th of Nov, or that was the starting sate for the event to get these. Either way, it's an Anniversary card.

So far, yes! Still waiting on any official statement or confirmation to feel totally safe that it was a bug, but for now everything is working.

Does anyone know how the " replace your deck with endless minions" interacts with the rouges "quasar" mana reduction. So lose your hand but get endless three cost reduced
I would guess that it doesn’t work as the portal invasion is sorta a deck next to your deck. If you shuffle stuff into it, it just disappears if I’m not mistaken.
@@shocknawe the cards disappear, but what about the mana discount. Because it is technically your deck. The 15/15 warlock treats it as a thirty card deck
@@blizz2748 from what I understand of Kil'jaeden, the portal he replaces your deck with is perpetually a 30 card deck of demons, which is why Fanottem is full cost at all times. So basically Quasar should discount the deck that "exists" when you play it, but as soon as you draw a single card your "deck" is replaced by a new 30 card demon deck with the buff Kiljaeden gives. So I could be totally wrong but I think Quasar would only wind up discounting the first card you draw post-portal and then nothing after that

There's been comments like this on previous theory crafts, and I think a lot of creators have mentioned it tends to happen because of the time crunch. They have a strict limited time on the server, so they try to get through as many decks as they can.
Unfortunately while you can Google the cards (while annoying) you can't Google more gameplay.
