I’ll be honest, I’m not usually into the whole yandere trope. However, this one was extremely good. While he may be slightly obsessive, he has his legitimate and well founded reasons for it. Moreover, he clearly actually respects her position in their relationship. She isn’t just an object to him, but instead he views/values her as a person and partner. He realizes and respects the fact that she has her own thoughts, feelings, opinions and freedom. These are all factors that are extremely crucial for any kind of relationship to work out and part of why I normally get rather frustrated, or even annoyed about this trope.
