How I "fondly" remember my days at Joeys and the sadistic Brothers' torturous ideas of how to instil the Rugby culture. Oh the joy of every Monday morning when Br Anthony Boyd (the paragon of cruelty) would gleefully line up any boys in his class who had lost their game of football on the weekend - just so he could thrash them with a cane. Of course the extra "entertainment' was his arbitrary decision to sometimes include those whose teams came a draw. He even went so far as to give boys of losing teams a stroke of the cane for every letter in the opposing schools' names - that is their formal names (which naturally involved more letters and therefore a bigger thrashing) ... Oh yes - don't forget to donate in order to prop up the comfortable retirement of said individuals and all their like minded cronies....
