Having never heard of the module I had a quick glance at the features. I think it's best to keep the bit-depth low (4 bit is enough). I'm not sure if the module has a weighted (stepped) output that combines the bits according to their significance. If it has it should be easy to make something similar (you would need an extra module for the XOR part but I don't think it's necessary to get some interesting results).
@briesmodular Not sure of the details but It's Defined as Dual Linear Feedback Shift Register Battery Top Section is 4 Gate generators Bottom section is 4 square wave Oscillators Each Section as Low / Medium / High setting Nibbler sounds like the Bottom Section but with unique controls and outputs for individual bits if I understand correctly and more ....
@@briesmodular Oh nice. I got one. Really cool for triggering drum modules and the modulation for them. Have to try this rungler stuff, if I can figure out what it is/for.
@@Nick-kb6jd To my knowledge it's a way of making this particular type of noise/frogsong/digital mayhem. You could make great percussion out of it. Other than that, to me at least, it's just a sonic experiment but I know for some people it's a way of life.
Infernal noises as I like.
Really great sounds
Thanks for this video.
Hey thanks! It's nice to be able to build a terrible noise machine like this. Endless variations possible!
I wonder how to apply this to My Zorlon Cannon MK2
Definitely will Step 8 Version as well
Sweet Ideas and Great Sounds
Bries
Cheers

two nibblers eh......you like it then?
These 2 were sent to me for demonstration purposes - I do like them but I'm still exploring the possibilities.

@@briesmodular I am, therefore I rungle.
