according to sleep app commercials, theres a green noise too. it's just different frequencies. sorta like how some respond to ASMR techniques and others don't. everyone has their own trigger/cure.

brown noise is similar to white noise but with less hiss. It’s a lower frequency sound that many people enjoy using to go to sleep with
